摘要: A wearable payment device, such as a finger ring worn by a user, communicates payment data via an antenna to a payment reader that uses the payment data in order to request a payment transaction. The wearable payment device can tune the antenna to enhance performance of the antenna. The wearable payment device can measure a characteristic of the antenna and perform an assessment of the performance of the antenna based on the measured characteristic. The antenna can be tuned, such as by changing the impedance of the antenna, based on the assessed performance of the antenna.

摘要: A method for securing an object from forgery involves a seal element having an antenna structure, an object to be secured, and at least one coupling element arranged or arrangeable at the object is supplied. The coupling element influences a value of an oscillating circuit parameter of the antenna structure when the antenna structure is arranged relative to the coupling element at the object. The seal element and the coupling element are arranged at the object such that a relative arrangement of the antenna structure to the coupling element at the object is fixed by which the value of the oscillating circuit parameter of the antenna structure arranged at the object is defined in dependence on the fixed relative arrangement, and serve as an authentication feature of the object. The value of the oscillating circuit parameter can be measured and associated with the object an authentication feature.

摘要: An electronic device includes: a coil, a chip with a contact-less function, a rectifier and a switcher. The switcher is connected between the coil and the chip. A first output terminal of the coil is connected to a first input terminal of the rectifier and a second input terminal of the chip. The coil is configured to sense a field and output an AC signal; the rectifier is used for receiving an AC signal input by the coil and outputting electric power through a second output terminal of the rectifier. The switcher is used for connecting the coil with the chip under an input operating voltage, and controlling a connection or disconnection of the coil and the chip according to a control signal when the control signal is received.

摘要: An electronic communications device includes a body of semiconductor material with an integrated electronic circuit, an inductive element, and a capacitive element. The capacitive element is formed by a first electrode and a second electrode positioned between the inductive element and the integrated electronic circuit. Tuning of the device circuitry is accomplished by energizing the inductive/capacitive elements, determining resonance frequency, and using a laser trimming operation to alter the structure of one or more of the first electrode, second electrode or inductive element and change the resonance frequency.

摘要: In antenna device, a coil conductor of an antenna coil module and a conductor layer at least partially overlap. A current flows in the conductor layer to block a magnetic field generated by a current flowing in the coil conductor. A current flows along the periphery of a slit and around the periphery of the conductor layer due to a cut-edge effect. Since magnetic flux does not pass through the conductor layer, magnetic flux attempts to bypass the conductor layer along a path in which the conductor opening of the conductor layer is on the inside and the outer edge of the conductor layer is on the outside. As a result, the magnetic flux generates large loops that link the inside and the outside of a coil conductor of an antenna on a reader/writer side to couple an antenna device and the antenna on the reader/writer side.
