摘要: Immunotherapy comprises administration of an alkaloid at a dose sufficient to induce IL-2 production in dendritic cells in a patient. The alkaloid induces the production of IL-2 in dendritic cells. The alkaloids need not be naturally occurring, and may be synthetic analogues or derivatives of naturally occurring counterparts. Such analogues or derivatives are preferably pharmaceutically acceptable analogues, salts, isomers or derivatives as herein defined. However, preferred alkaloids are phytochemicals. Such phytochemicals may be isolated from natural sources or synthesised in vitro. Particularly preferred are alkaloids is selected from piperidine alkaloids; pyrrolin alkaloids; pyrrolidine alkaloids; pyrolizidine alkaloids: indolizidine alkaloids and nortropane alkaloids.

摘要: An audio streaming system includes a handheld computing device that asynchronously streams audio to a storage subsystem. The handheld computing device receives and buffers audio data of contiguous audio samples and, after a predefined amount of contiguous audio samples has been buffered, assigns an index for that predefined amount of contiguous audio samples and asynchronously transmits the index and those contiguous audio samples to a storage subsystem of a broadcast server system. The handheld computing device, upon determining that the predefined amount of contiguous audio samples has been received by the storage subsystem, transmits a notification message to an application server of the broadcast server system that includes the assigned index and indicates that the corresponding contiguous audio samples are stored on the storage subsystem. The notification message causes the application server to fetch those audio samples according to the index and process them for broadcasting to client computing devices.

摘要: The present invention provides, inter alia, a method of filling and sealing a beverage container, the method comprising the steps of:a) dispensing a predetermined amount of beverage, preferably wine, into an open-topped container having a circular rim, preferably a plastics wine glass, to leave a headspace above the beverage in the container;b) temporarily tacking a generally flat flexible film lid sized to fit over the open top to the rim of the container at at least one position around the rim while leaving the remainder of the rim free;c) engaging the tacked lid to cause flexure thereof to create a gap between the lid and the rim on one side;d) dispensing an inert gas, preferably nitrogen, through the gap so created and into the headspace to displace air therefrom; ande) bringing a heat sealer into engagement with the lid to heat seal the lid to the rim about its entire circumference, thereby trapping the inert gas within the headspace.

摘要: A wrench comprises a handle connected to a housing. A socket is rotatably supported in the housing for ratcheting movement relative to the housing. A retaining member releasably secures a device in the socket. A retainer is supported on the housing and is movable between a first position and a second position. The retainer, when in the first position, at least partially overlays the socket. A plurality of guides orient a member relative to the socket. The guides are mounted in a rotatable body. A first handle is permanently connected to the housing and a second handle is removably connected to the housing.
