Abstract:
In accordance with one embodiment, the present invention provides the ability to embed and edit rich content into a browser document. Embedded objects are not backed by installed desktop applications. Instead, in one embodiment, the embedded objects are Asynchronous Javascript and XML (AJAX) components that adhere to a set of design patterns, which are embedded within editable HTML documents. For example, a user composing an email message can embed a spreadsheet into the email in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The spreadsheet is implemented, in one embodiment, as an AJAX component adhering to the Ajax Linking and Embedding (ALE) design pattern. Since it is an ALE component, the embedded object is fetched across the network so that it may be instantiated and used regardless of the user's location. The user can edit, manipulate, and save the embedded object while remaining in the context of the container document.
Abstract:
The present invention is, in one embodiment, a system and method based on a client-server architecture for seamlessly integrating various information systems. In one embodiment, a bundle of files is deployed to a collaboration client, in order to enable the integration of the collaboration client with disparate information systems and content. In one embodiment, content within a mailbox item is allowed to become a “live” object, and is associated with trigger events, and actions, including sending all or part of the content to a separate information system. In one embodiment, mailbox items are subjected to predefined searches to assess whether they include certain content objects. In another embodiment, panel item elements are visible in the overview panel of the collaboration client. The user may interact with the panel items by dragging content onto them, double clicking them, and invoking actions from a context menu if one is available.
Abstract:
A method of displaying a stereoscopic image includes outputting a left-eye image to a first and a second display block of a display panel during an N-th frame. Light is provided to the first display block during a first period of the N-th frame and light is provided to the second display block during a second period of the N-th frame. A right-eye image is output to the first and second display blocks of the display panel during an M-th frame. Light is provided to the first display block during a first period of the M-th frame and light is provided light to the second display block during a second period of the M-th frame.

Abstract:
A driver knee bolster may include a first bracket arranged on a cowl crossbar, wherein an upper portion may be fixed to the cowl crossbar, a second bracket disposed in front of the first bracket, wherein a lower portion of the second bracket may be coupled to a lower portion of the first bracket, and an upper portion of the second bracket may be spaced apart from the upper portion of the first bracket to form a space therebetween, and a buffering member arranged in the space formed between the first and second brackets.
Abstract:
A multi-view display device display images based on received image signals, received request signals, and transmits timing control signals. When the device receives request signals with distinct channel information during a given period, the device displays a first image signal and transmits a first timing control signal that includes one of the distinct channel information during a first period of an image frame, and displays a second image signal and transmits a second timing control signal that includes the other of the distinct channel information during another second period of the image frame. User controllers having glasses are activated or deactivated to view or obscure the displayed images based on receipt of the timing control signals.
Abstract:
A display device including a display panel displaying an original image at a first time and a converted image based on the original image at a second time. The average value of the luminance of a first pixel (of the original image) first time and the luminance of the first pixel (of the converted image) at the second time is substantially the same as the average value of luminance of a second pixel (of the original image) at the first time and the luminance of the second pixel (of the converted image) at the second time.
Abstract:
A three-dimensional image display device includes a luminance controller receiving a three-dimensional enable signal, a backlight data signal and at least one starting signal of a scan starting signal, a vertical blank starting signal and a backlight starting signal. The luminance controller outputs a backlight control signal and a backlight unit is operated based on the backlight control signal and is coupled to the luminance controller. The backlight data signal is based on a previous pulse of the starting signal and is applied from a first time when a current pulse of the starting signal starts to a second time when a next pulse of the starting signal starts.
