Abstract:
A passenger air bag system for vehicles includes an air bag housing, an inflator disposed in the air bag housing for discharging gas when a collision of the vehicle occurs, a cushion accommodated in the air bag housing such that the cushion is expanded by means of the gas discharged from the inflator, a retainer disposed between the cushion and the inflator for supporting the cushion, and an inflator holder disposed between the retainer and the inflator. The retainer has a plurality of gas-guiding holes for guiding the gas discharged from the inflator to the cushion. The inflator holder is fixed to the air bag housing together with the retainer for securely holding the inflator by means of a fixing force of the retainer.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal including an interface module configured to connect the mobile terminal to a personal computer; a communication unit configured to communicate with the personal computer via a first communication mode, a controller configured to selectively transmit a communication mode change program to the personal computer via the interface module, the communication mode change program instructing the personal computer to communicate with the mobile terminal via a second communication mode that is different than the first communication mode, and a receiving unit configured to receive a mode change instruction from the personal computer instructing the mobile terminal to communicate with the personal computer via the second communication mode.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an airbag module which can improve working efficiency because it is easy to assemble, reduce weight while maintaining sufficient rigidity, and ensure sufficient safety. The airbag module comprises: a cushion assembly including an airbag cushion; an inflator for supplying gas to the airbag cushion to deploy the airbag cushion; a housing for containing the cushion assembly, and having a through hole for arranging the inflator therethrough; and a cushion support for supporting the cushion assembly, and including through rings for passing the inflator therethrough so as to be supported by the inflator arranged through the through hole.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a digital image watermarking apparatus and method. Luminance component of a digital image are transformed into coefficients of a frequency domain, and watermark is generated by encrypting a user key and generating pseudo random number from encrypted user key. Then, a replacement coefficient generated from a coefficient of a first frequency area and the watermark is replaced with a coefficient of a second frequency area so that the watermark is embedded into the digital image. The embedded watermark is extracted at an authenticating apparatus and the digital image is authenticated by finding the correlation between the extracted watermark and watermark for authentication.
Abstract:
Provided is a knee airbag apparatus including an airbag cushion that develops upward without sagging downward to protect the passenger's knee.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal and a method for controlling the mobile terminal to be used through a host device are disclosed. The method for controlling the mobile terminal to be used through the host device includes transmitting a virtualization engine and driver programs of user modes of the mobile terminal to the host device; selecting one of the user modes; and transmitting information of the selected one user mode to the host device, wherein the transmitted virtualization engine is recognized as a part of an operating system (OS) of the host device, and is programmed to drive a driver program corresponding to each of the user modes within the host device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an airbag cushion for protecting a driver and passengers when a vehicle crashes, wherein the sliding bent is guided into a belt guider and slides between a deployment portion and the belt guider, when the deployment portion is deployed. The sliding belt slides between the deployment portion and the belt guider in such a manner that before the deployment portion is deployed, the sliding belt clogs the first vent holes, when the deployment portion is partially deployed, the second vent hole forms a flow channel together with the first vent holes so that the gas is discharged along the flow channel through the first vent holes, and when the deployment portion is fully deployed, the sliding belt clogs the first vent holes so that the gas is not discharged through the first vent holes.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for and a method of manufacturing a linear gear (rack gear), in which a forming roll and a guide roll are used to form gear teeth in a sequential manner so as not to require a high load, thereby enabling to easily manufacture the rack gear. A system for manufacturing a rack gear according to the invention includes a forming roll having a convexo-concave portion formed on a part of the surface contacting with a linear bar, a guide roll adapted to roll while facing the forming roll, and at least one support member for supporting the linear bar so as to allow the linear bar to linearly move. A method of manufacturing a rack gear according to the invention includes a first step of passing a linear bar through between a pair of rollers provided in front of a forming roll and a guide roll, a second step of charging the linear bar into a charging hole between the forming roll and the guide roll, a third step of rolling the forming roll and the guide roll to partly form teeth on the outer circumferential surface of the linear bar, and a fourth step of rolling the forming roll and the guide roll forward or backward to discharge the linear bar.

Abstract:
An air bag module has a cushion size adjusting mechanism mounted for folding a part of a cushion and holding the same in an air bag housing. Thus, the expansion size of the cushion can be adjusted according to the expansion pressure of the inflator because if the expansion pressure of an inflator is large, the cushion is expanded to a full expansion size, thereby improving the performance and reliability. The cushion size adjusting mechanism is mounted to the air bag housing, thereby preventing accidents such as bruises caused when the cushion size adjusting mechanism is exposed to the outside.
