    摘要: Succinic acid is produced by bringing a succinic acid-containing liquid containing succinic acid and cation which is obtained by fermentation or an enzymatic method into contact with an H-type strongly acidic cation-exchange resin in an amount equivalent to or more than the amount of cation other than hydrogen ion contained in the succinic acid-containing liquid, and precipitating a crystal of succinic acid from the obtained ion-exchange-treated liquid to obtain purified succinic acid.

    摘要: Both ends of a bulb of a waste fluorescent lamp are cut off, a phosphor layer formed on an interior surface of the bulb is detached, so that mercury-containing phosphor powder can be obtained. The mercury-containing phosphor powder is subjected to a heating and reducing process with the dry-method, by mixing an organic reducing agent with the phosphor powder and heating the mixture, to vaporize and separate mercury from the phosphor powder. The vaporized mercury is then cooled and condensed, to collect mercury.

    摘要: An ultrasonic testing apparatus includes an ultrasonic probe disposed under an end portion of a pipe laid in the horizontal direction to face the pipe end portion. The probe transmits ultrasonic waves to the end portion of the pipe and receives the ultrasonic waves therefrom. A probe holder housing the probe includes a coupling medium reserver part which surrounds a space between the probe and the end portion of the pipe to contain a coupling medium W. The coupling medium reserver part includes a part body 21 into which the coupling medium is supplied; an annular bellows part, which is attached to the upper side of the part body to internally communicate with the part body, and an annular spacer 23 attached to the upper side of the bellows part, the upper surface of the annular spacer being a flat horizontal surface.

    摘要: The method of steel grade determination for a steel material having a substantially circular cross-section comprise: a detection step in which while a measurement section 2 including an irradiation section 21 for performing X-ray irradiation and a detection section 22 for detecting fluorescent X-rays is relatively moved along an outer peripheral surface of the steel material 4 with respect to the steel material for a predetermined time period necessary for analysis, the steel material is irradiated with X-rays from the irradiation section, and fluorescent X-rays radiated from the steel material are detected by the detection section; a calculation step of calculating a composition of the steel material based on fluorescent X-rays detected in the detection step; and a determination step of determining a steel grade of the steel material according to the composition calculated in the calculation step.
