    Abstract: A single-handle sanitary valve, of the type having valve means including a movable control disc mounted in face-to-face seating contact with a stationary valve seat, is disclosed. The valve seat disc includes temperature attentuating means operatively coupled between the hot and cold water inlet openings of the stationary valve seat disc and the hot and cold water supply conduits so that when the mixing valve is in its operative mode, a relatively large movement of the handle produces only a relatively small change in mixed water temperature, thereby achieving a greater so-called comfort zone.

    Abstract: A straight-way valve comprising a valve body having regulating elements is mounted therein. The valve regulating elements include a plurality of discs, one of which is mounted for rotation and at least one of the other discs is statically mounted in valve body. The rotatable disc has a plurality of flow ports, which correspond with flow ports formed in the at least one static disc. The at least one static disc is arranged in face-to-face contact against the rotatable disc to form a fluid tight, mechanical seal. An actuating device is coupled to the rotatable disc and is mounted for rotation in said valve body. The actuating device includes means, which extend through the valve body for rotating the disc from an opened to a closed position.

    Abstract: The showerhead of the present invention permits the removal of damaging water deposits, such as lime deposits, without causing damage to the surrounding showerhead portion on which the deposits are located. The showerhead includes a bottom portion with resilient extended portions associated with water exit ports of the showerhead wherein said resilient portions can be manipulated for removal of lime deposits from water. Specifically, the bottom portion of the showerhead may include a projection member extending along the periphery of the showerhead.
