Abstract:
The embodiments relate to a CT system with a stationary part and a rotatable part, which is supported rotatably in the stationary part. At least one x-ray tube unit cooled by a cooling fluid, an x-ray detector lying opposite the x-ray tube unit, and a cooling device coupled in terms of fluid technology to the x-ray tube unit via a coolant circuit are disposed in the rotatable part. A cooling air channel, through which cooling air is able to be fed into the rotatable part, and an exhaust air channel, through which heated exhaust air is able to be taken away from the rotatable part, are disposed in the stationary part. In accordance with the embodiments, at least one overpressure relief valve is disposed in the coolant circuit, through which the cooling fluid is able to be conveyed away in the exhaust air channel.

An x-ray emitter housing includes a first housing part and a second housing part that are connected to one another in a form-fit manner using an axially acting threaded ring.
Abstract:
A computed tomography system has a gantry with a rotor side that can be rotated around a system axis during operation, at which at least one x-ray tube is mounted. To cool the at least one x-ray tube a liquid cooling system is equipped with a fluid volume filled with cooling liquid, the fluid volume extends over distances of different sizes from the system axis. The fluid volume is located on the rotor of the gantry and thus is exposed to centrifugal force during operation. To increase pressure in the cooling system, a flexible compensation volume and a movable mass element that rotate with the gantry are provided. The mass element is arranged such that the centrifugal force acting on the mass element during operation causes pressure to be exerted on the cooling liquid.
Abstract:
The present invention enables to determine a film mode characteristic for individual image areas in order to appropriately reflect local image characteristics. By detecting the image characteristics on a local basis, a picture improvement processing achieves better results as artefacts due to the application of a wrong global improvement processing are avoided.
Abstract:
An inverted U-shaped hollow rectangular tube has clamps at its ends for securing the same to the rain gutter of a vehicle. Openings in the tube removably receive selected load supports and a slide bar in the tube engages the load support to prevent its removal. Locks prevent release of the slide bar and cover the clamps to prevent their unauthorized release.
Abstract:
A parking brake device for motor vehicles is described, having an operator control element and at least two electromechanical actuators for generating a parking braking force at in each case one wheel of the motor vehicle, and having in each case one wheel actuation unit per electromechanical actuator, and a further control unit. The further control unit is connected here, on the one hand, to the operator control element and, on the other hand, in parallel to each wheel actuation unit via at least one parking brake data bus. The further control unit applies control signals to the wheel actuation units, and a safety element is provided which ensures reliable operation of the parking brake device with wheel control units with, in each case, one microcontroller. The safety element ensures, even in the case of a communication fault in the parking brake data bus, the reliable operation of the wheel actuation units within the parking brake, and the safety element ensures the activation of at least one actuator even in the case of a communication fault in the parking brake data bus of the parking brake device. In addition, a method for operating such a parking brake device is described.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a correction of image status information assigned on a local basis to a video image. Upon evaluating a predefined image portion comprising a plurality of image elements, incorrect determinations are detected and eliminated.
Abstract:
The present invention enables an improved film mode determination, in particular for border areas of moving objects. This is achieved by a film mode extrapolation. The film mode indication of the current block is extrapolated in accordance with a motion vector determined for the identical block. In this manner, the accuracy of the film mode determinations for the current image can be improved and image processing yielding improved picture quality can be improved accordingly.
Abstract:
A process for the production of a marbled or mottled cake or bar, particularly of soap, comprising cutting an extruded rope having axially aligned section of different colors, into blanks of the desired dimension, at an angle .alpha. of 75.degree. to 15.degree. to the axis of said extruded rope, stamp molding said blanks with the direction of stamping at an angle .beta. of from 90.degree. to 30.degree. to the cut surfaces of said blank, and recovering a marbled or mottled cake or bar of soap.
