Abstract: An electronic dispenser for dispensing measured perforated sheets from a roll of perforated web material includes a housing, and a roll carrier disposed in the housing to rotationally support the roll of perforated web material. An electrically driven feed mechanism is disposed in the housing to dispense the sheets of web material therefrom. The feed mechanism includes rollers defining a drafting zone through which the web material is conveyed. The web material is drawn in the drafting zone to an extent necessary to at least partially separate the web material along a perforation line prior to the perforation line passing through the drafting zone.

Abstract: A process for hydro-entangling a layer of fibers into a web includes the steps of conveying a web from a supply to lie against a traveling hydro-entangling fabric. A layer of fibers is deposited onto a traveling forming fabric, the forming fabric supporting the fiber layer from below. The forming fabric and the hydro-entangling fabric converge at a combining location where the forming fabric and hydro-entangling fabric orient and travel adjacent each other such that the fiber layer and web are sandwiched between the forming fabric and the hydro-entangling fabric with the fiber layer supported from below by the hydro-entangling fabric and web. The forming fabric is separated from the fiber layer after the web and overlying fiber layer are supported from below by the hydro-entangling fabric and the hydro-entangling fabric is conveyed through a hydro-entangling station to hydro-entangle the fibers into the web.

Abstract: A digital circuit for sensing peaks exceeding a predetermined threshold innalog signals employs clock and control oscillators arranged such that their frequencies vary in opposite senses in response to changes in the sensed signal. The clock oscillator frequency is counted during sample intervals of durations which vary inversely with the control oscillator frequency. A count increase (or decrease) of predetermined amount from one sample interval to the next, followed by a count decrease (or increase) from another sample interval to the next, results in an output signal. In a preferred embodiment, the clock frequency is counted in an up/down counter which, for each sample interval, is counted up and down for equal numbers of control oscillator cycles. The net count at the end of a sample interval is therefore an indication of the magnitude and polarity of changes in the sensed signal. In a particular utilization the circuit serves in a mine fuze and senses the peak of a magnetic field signal such as is associated with a tank or other vehicle.

Abstract: The present disclosure contemplates a book of templates that are die-cut stamped traceable designs that allow users to draw an exact outline of a various repetitive designs such as snowflakes. In one embodiment the present disclosure contemplates an apparatus with traceable templates produced using a die-cutting manufacturing process. In this embodiment the apparatus may also include a final product medium made of paper. In this embodiment the apparatus may yield an ultimate design that is a repetitive design such as a snowflake. The die-cut traceable templates provide a fractional outline of ultimate designs where the fraction of the design is repeated in a circular fashion to yield the ultimate design. In another embodiment a series of die-cut traceable templates may be included in a book where each die-cut traceable template may have a different repetitive design that may be traced on to a final product medium. In another embodiment the present disclosure contemplates a method of creating repetitive craft designs using die-cut traceable templates. In this embodiment the method includes various tracing, folding, and cutting steps which render an ultimate repetitive design.

Abstract: A mechanism to provide a convenient means for releasing the contents of an aerosol can while reducing finger-fatigue and preventing the contents from adhering to the finger tip. This invention is comprised of a base that is easily mounted to the ring of an aerosol can with a lever that is hinged from the base and extends down along the side of the aerosol can. A single hand can grasp the can and depress the lever which will hinge down and push the nozzle and thereby release the contents.
