摘要: An OLED device comprises a cathode, an anode, and has therebetween a light emitting layer (LEL) comprising a phosphorescent emitting compound disposed in a host comprising a mixture of at least one electron transporting co-host which is a benzophenone derivative with a spiro substituent and at least one hole transporting co-host which is a triphenylamine which contains one trivalent nitrogen atom that is bonded only to carbon atoms, at least one of which is a member of an aromatic ring, wherein there is present an electron transporting layer contiguous to the LEL (HBL?) on the cathode side comprising an anthracene or a fluoranthene and wherein there is present an election injecting layer comprising a phenanthroline or a lithium quinolate contiguous to the cathode.

摘要: The invention provides an OLED device comprising an anode, a cathode and a light-emitting layer located therebetween, said light-emitting layer comprising an anthracene host and a styrylamine blue light-emitting compound; and, located between the said light-emitting layer and the cathode, a first electron-transporting layer that is greater than 0.5 nm and less than 5 nm thick; and a second electron-transporting layer consisting essentially of an anthracene located between the first electron-transporting layer and the cathode. The first electron-transporting layer includes a compound with a less negative LUMO level than the anthracene in the second electron-transporting layer. Devices of the invention provide improvement in features such as efficiency.

摘要: The invention provides an OLED device including an anode, a cathode and a green light-emitting layer located therebetween, said light-emitting layer including an anthracene host, a bis-diarylamine 9,10-substituted anthracene and a stabilizer compound which is selected from a quinacridone or a biphenylstyrylamine. Devices of the invention provide improvement in features such as stability and efficiency while maintaining excellent color.

摘要: An electroluminescent device comprises a cathode and an anode; and, located therebetween, a light-emitting layer (LEL) comprising at least one hole transporting co-host and at least one electron transporting co-host, together with at least one phosphorescent emitter, and wherein the triplet energy of each of the co-host materials is greater than the triplet energy of the phosphorescent emitter, and further containing an exciton blocking layer comprising a hole transporting material with triplet energy greater or equal to 2.5 eV adjacent the emitting layer on the anode side. The invention provides devices that emit light with high luminous efficiency at low voltage.
