摘要: The invention provides an OLED device including an anode, a cathode and a green light-emitting layer located therebetween, said light-emitting layer including an anthracene host, a bis-diarylamine 9,10-substituted anthracene and a stabilizer compound which is selected from a quinacridone or a biphenylstyrylamine. Devices of the invention provide improvement in features such as stability and efficiency while maintaining excellent color.

摘要: An organic electroluminescent device comprises a cathode, an anode, and has therebetween a light-emitting layer comprising an emissive component represented by formula (I): wherein: Ar1, each Ar2, and Ar3 through Ar7 are independently selected aryl or heteroaryl groups, which may contain additional fused rings and provided that two aryl or heteroaryl rings may be joined; n is 1, 2 or 3. The device exhibits good luminous yield with desirable color coordinates, particularly in the blue or blue-green region.

摘要: An electroluminescent device includes a light-emitting layer containing a host material and: (a) a compound of Formula (1): X1—Ar1—C(R1)═C(R2)—Ar2 (1) wherein: Ar1 represents a divalent aromatic group; Ar2 represents an aromatic group; X1 represents at least one electron-donating group; R1 and R2 independently represent hydrogen or a substituent; and (b) a light-emitting boron complex having an absorption spectrum that overlaps with the emission spectrum of compound (1). The device serves to improve luminance efficiency while maintaining good color purity.

摘要: A tandem OLED includes an anode and a cathode. The OLED also includes at least two electroluminescent units disposed between the anode and the cathode, wherein each of the electroluminescent units includes at least one hole-transporting layer and one organic light-emitting layer. An intermediate connector is disposed between adjacent electroluminescent units, wherein the intermediate connector includes an n-doped organic layer and an electron-accepting layer, the electron-accepting layer being disposed closer to the cathode than the n-doped organic layer, and wherein the electron-accepting layer includes one or more organic materials, each having a reduction potential greater than −0.5 V vs. a Saturated Calomel Electrode, and wherein the one or more organic materials constitute more than 50% by volume of the electron-accepting layer.

摘要: A flat panel OLED device including a transparent deformable substrate having first and second sides and defining a predetermined illumination region and a non-illumination region; a moisture-sensitive OLED disposed over the first side of the transparent substrate within the illumination region and means for applying electrical signals to the OLED which causes the OLED to produce light and heat; a protective layer disposed over the OLED; a flexible encapsulating foil disposed over the protective layer, but not attached thereto, and which dissipates the heat and sealingly connected to the substrate in the non-illumination region; and a rigid chassis structure operatively associated with the transparent deformable substrate for providing rigidity to the transparent deformable substrate.

Such materials can provide an improvement in one or more of luminance, drive voltage, and stability.

摘要: A method for making an OLED device includes providing a substrate having one or more test regions and one or more device regions, moving the substrate into a least one deposition chamber for deposition of at least one organic layer, and depositing the at least one organic layer through a shadowmask selectively onto the at least one device region and at least one test region on the substrate. The method also includes measuring a property of the at least one organic layer in the at least one test region, and adjusting the deposition process in accordance with the measured property.
