摘要: The invention provides an OLED device including an anode, a cathode and a green light-emitting layer located therebetween, said light-emitting layer including an anthracene host, a bis-diarylamine 9,10-substituted anthracene and a stabilizer compound which is selected from a quinacridone or a biphenylstyrylamine. Devices of the invention provide improvement in features such as stability and efficiency while maintaining excellent color.

摘要: Disclosed is an electroluminescent device comprising a light emitting layer comprising a boron complex wherein the boron is bonded to a nitrogen atom of a first 5-membered heteroaromatic ring group and to a nitrogen atom of a second 5-membered heteroaromatic ring group, provided that the 5-membered rings are further connected by a methene or an imine bridge to form a six-membered ring, and provided further that at least one of the 5-membered rings contains at least one additional heteroatom that is divalent or trivalent.

Also disclosed is a device containing the electroluminescent device and a process for emitting light using the device.

摘要: A tandem OLED includes an anode, a cathode, and at least two electroluminescent units disposed between the anode and the cathode, wherein each of the electroluminescent units includes at least one hole-injecting layer, one hole-transporting layer, one organic light-emitting layer, one electron-transporting layer, and one electron-injecting layer. The OLED also includes at least one intermediate connector, wherein each of the intermediate connectors includes at least one layer, and wherein each of the intermediate connectors is disposed between electroluminescent units, wherein the thickness of each layer in each of the electroluminescent units and the intermediate connectors is selected to satisfy the test condition that the voltage drop from the anode to the cathode is less than 4.0 V×N (the number of electroluminescent units) at 20 mA/cm2.

摘要: An organic vertical cavity laser light producing device includes a bottom dielectric stack reflective to light over a predetermined range of wavelengths; an organic active region for producing laser light, and having an organic active region including emissive material; and a top dielectric stack spaced from the bottom dielectric stack and reflective to light over a predetermined range of wavelengths. Pump-beam light is transmitted and introduced into the organic active region through at least one of the dielectric stacks. The organic active region includes one or more periodic gain region(s) and organic spacer layers disposed on either side of the periodic gain region(s) and arranged so that the periodic gain region(s) is aligned with the antinodes of the device's standing wave electromagnetic field, and wherein the spacer layers are substantially transparent to the laser light.
