摘要: A system or method comprising at least one lift system that is adapted to raise a container (e.g., roll-off container) off of the floor or ground to allow for the amount of material in the container to be determined. An example of a lift system may be comprised of at least one air lift bag (i.e., air bag, air bladder, or air spring), which may include or be in communication with a control system and/or other suitable processing system to facilitate the determination of the amount of material in the container. For example, a control system may be adapted to monitor the air pressure required to inflate each air lift bag to a certain threshold and/or another suitable parameter or measurement associated with the inflation (e.g., pressure differential) or position of each air lift bag and then use that information to calculate the weight of material in the container.

In one embodiment, a pressure relief tube may comprise at least one hatch that is adapted to expand in response to force applied from within the tube. An example of the pressure relief tube may automatically adapt or adjust to potential problem material in the tube to allow for conveyance or clearance of the problem material. Another example of the pressure relief tube may be manually adapted or adjusted to facilitate conveyance or clearance of the problem material. Related systems and methods comprising a pressure relief tube are also provided.

An exemplary embodiment is comprised of dual opposing augers that are adapted to grab, compress, and shred the material, reducing the material size such that it may be discharged through a side outlet opening and/or an extrusion tube into, for example, a standard roll-off compaction container. An exemplary embodiment allows large material to be processed in a low speed device with reduced equipment dimensions, providing operator safety with low profile loading, lower noise level, reduced chances of material being expelled from the processing chamber, and ability to use conventional material transport (e.g., semi-trucks).

摘要: Exemplary embodiments are for a system for crushing a material that may include a compaction chamber and a screw assembly that generally extends between the proximal and distal ends of the compaction chamber. A portion of the screw assembly increases in diameter along a length of the shaft of the screw assembly such that the system is configured to crush material between the compaction chamber and the portion of the screw assembly that increases in diameter. The portion of the screw assembly that increases in diameter may be integral with the shaft of the screw assembly. An exemplary embodiment of the system may also include at least one wear member that is removably associated with the distal portion of the compaction chamber such that the wear member may assist with the crushing of material.

摘要: A system for crushing material that may include a compaction chamber and a screw assembly that generally extends between the proximal and distal ends of the compaction chamber. 摘要: Exemplary embodiments include improved systems and methods for sorting and metering materials to be recycled at a material recovery facility. Systems and methods for the accurate and automated sorting and metering of recoverable materials may include a bunker with an integral conveyor adapted to meter presorted materials such that predetermined amounts of the materials may be delivered to a baler for baling and sale. Exemplary systems may include an auger screw type conveyor sized and shaped to deliver the materials to, for example, a baling system. The systems may also include a crusher for reducing the volume of the materials prior to metering from the bunker; by reducing the volume of the materials in the bunker, a baler may operate more efficiently, increasing output from the facility.
