Abstract:
Disclosed is a wiring device that can be equipped with at least one connection module and is provided with a contacting device(s). In order to protect the optionally live contacting device(s) of the wiring device with simple device(s) against accidental contact when contacting the connection module that can be coupled, an insulating device(s) is disposed at the end of and/or along the contacting device(s).
Abstract:
A short circuit indicator module is disclosed for an electrical switching device, in particular for a circuit breaker. The electrical switching device is configured to interrupt a current flow in the event of a short circuit and/or an overload in a subordinate power circuit. The module includes a housing, a display facility for indicating tripping of the electrical switching device in the event of a short circuit and a movable unlatching element, it being possible for the display facility to be activated by a movement of the unlatching element and the unlatching element being configured to form a functional connection between the short circuit indicator module and the electrical switching device. The module is configured to test the activatability of the display facility of the short circuit indicator module and/or to test the functional connection between the short circuit indicator module and the electrical switching device.
Abstract:
In an undervoltage tripping unit of at least one embodiment, an armature acts on a tripping slide via a drum. During tripping, an auxiliary switch is closed. In order to reset the under-voltage tripping unit after tripping, a latching mechanism of an associated circuit breaker acts on the drum via a driver bolt. At the same time, a projecting element is formed on the drum and closes the auxiliary switch when the drum is rotated back. The auxiliary switch therefore need not itself be directly coupled to the latching mechanism.
Abstract:
A power switch includes switch contacts that are opened via a switch shaft, which, when the switch is triggered, is actuated by way of the trigger slider of a trigger unit, in particular a working current trigger unit. The trigger slider moves the switch shaft by way of the trigger shaft of a switch latch, the trigger unit including electric coil into which an armature extends that is drawn into the coil by electromagnetic forces of attraction when the switch is triggered. A stationary counter armature is disposed in the coil, which counter armature serves as a stop for the armature, so as to increase the forces of attraction. The movement of the armature is transmitted by way of a mechanism to the movement of the trigger slider so as to increase the displacement path of the trigger slider.

Abstract:
The Switchgear unit, especially a motor starter, has a contactor and a power switch for short-circuit protection. The additional function of overload protection envisaged for the switchgear unit is integrated in an overload relay that is configured separately from the power switch. The components thereof extend into free areas formed by the arrangement of the contactor and power switch as standard components on a support.
Abstract:
The auxiliary switch (2) has a slide (5) with a gate (14) as an actuating element that engages with the reversing lever (13) acting upon the contact carrier (11). After a first actuation stage, in which the slide (5) pushes the contact carrier (11) into the ON position, the actuating element of a basic switching device (1) is actuated when pushing is continued.
Abstract:
In at least one embodiment, an auxiliary switch includes a rotation part and a switching lever assigned to a configuration of the auxiliary switch, the switching lever being embodied to detect a switching state of the electrical switch and transmit it to the rotation part. Further, different switching states of the auxiliary switch are set by different rotary positions of the rotation part, with the rotation part having at least two engagement points and with the switching lever assigned to a configuration engaging in the engagement point assigned to this configuration.
Abstract:
An installation device includes connecting modules which, are easy to replace under aggravated conditions of access, while requiring little space. The device is provided with a retaining device for a supporting structure to be coupled thereto and additionally with a housing with integrated module slots for the connecting modules. In order to specifically assign the connecting modules to the module slots, the device is provided with one coding device for each module slot and one mating coding device for each connecting module. The device is also provided with one snap-in device on at least one of the module slots and one mating snap-in device on at least one of the connecting modules to lock and unlock the connecting modules in the corresponding module slots. One contact element each having a long side is provided for each module slot and one connecting module each is provided with one mating contact element, the contact elements being contacted with the mating contact element at an angle to its long side.
