摘要： A circuit breaker bracket assembly has two generally U-shaped metal clips, each metal clip having a rearwardly projecting resilient wing formed therein with two forwardly projecting arms extending therefrom, each arm having an aperture which engages a nodule of a recess on a basal portion of a molded plastic cover plate. The molded plastic cover plate has a top face which has flanges preventing the cover plate from sliding through a panel opening. The basal portion has two mounting plugs formed on the back thereof which engage openings in each circuit breaker half case part and upon assembly of the circuit breaker holds the circuit breaker bracket assembly to the circuit breaker case.

摘要： A manually operated switching device which includes a pivotally mounted actuating bracket carrying a cross bar which advances toward and away from a set of fixed contacts as the bracket is rotated. A set of movable contacts on the cross bar make or break the circuit as the bar is moved. A thermal overload device including a plunger normally held in a fixed position by a pawl and detent arrangement but in response to excess heat caused by excessive current in a controlled conductor the detent may rotate permitting a spring to drive the plunger to a position where it operates a reset bracket which in turn operates the actuating bracket opening the circuit and prevents its operation until the thermal overload has been removed.

摘要： Multi-pole and single-pole circuit breakers include a housing and a reset lockout mechanism disposed within the housing. The reset lockout mechanism disables electrical communication between line and load terminals of the circuit breaker if a predefined condition exists. Some circuit breakers include a single actuator, transition between ON and OFF states, and are capable of performing test functions. The test functions may involve testing AFCI and/or GFCI functions of the circuit breakers. The test functions may be performed when the circuit breaker transitions from an OFF state to an ON state. Some circuit breakers including a reset lockout mechanism may be powered only on its line side. Some circuit breakers provide an electrical indication when they are in the OFF state.

The switch lever is supported for rotation by the switch shaft between on and off positions. The spring biases the switch lever to one of the positions. The mechanism member has a portion engagable with a portion of the switch lever to control movement of the switch lever. The portions of the mechanism member and the switch lever are configured to permit assembly of the on-off switch part separate from the assembly of the operating part and engagement of the portions of the mechanism member and the switch lever subsequent to assembly of the on-off switch part.
