    摘要: A circuit breaker, including a circuit breaker body, a handle, a bottom box, and a bearing plate. The circuit breaker body includes an upper cover, and a notch groove is formed on the upper cover. Two ends of the notch groove are positioned in the on/off position corresponding to the circuit breaker. The handle extends out of the notch groove. A circuit breaker actuating mechanism, a wire inlet end, and a wire outlet end are arranged on the bottom box. The circuit breaker actuating mechanism is triggered by the handle. The bearing plate is arranged between the upper cover and the bottom box and combined with an electrical operating mechanism. The handle is switched in the on/off state during the operation of the electrical operating mechanism under the control of an automatic closing control unit.

    摘要: A switch linkage mechanism includes a self-holding solenoid, at least a linkage shaft, at least a twist bar and at least a copper strip set. When the twist bar is at a circuit-closed position, the copper strip set is electrically connected to the high-current circuit breaker. When a self-holding solenoid is activated to pull up a central axle of the self-holding solenoid, the central axle pulls a joint of the linkage shaft and the central axle, and then it pushes the twist bar to be rotated to an circuit-opened position, so that the twist bar stretches out the copper strip set to cause the switch linkage mechanism to be electrically disconnected from the large-current circuit breaker.

    摘要: A magnetic actuator unit is disclosed for a circuit-breaker arrangement, having an armature arranged to be movable between first and second, closed and opened end switching positions of the circuit-breaker, a single electrical coil for moving the armature to the second position due to electrical current feed, a permanent magnet for loading the armature in the direction of the second position, an outer ferromagnetic yoke at least partly surrounding the single electrical coil and the ferromagnetic core for directing magnetic flux to the armature, and an opening spring for permanent loading of the armature in the direction of the first position, which is coaxially arranged between the armature and the front side of the electrical coil. The opening spring can be at least partly accommodated inside an armature groove.

    摘要: A user adjustment assembly for translating user-adjustable dial settings to tripping levels of an electronic trip unit includes a potentiometer and an adjustment button. The potentiometer is positioned inside a cover of the trip unit and includes a potentiometer button. The adjustment button is coupled to the potentiometer for mechanically adjusting it and includes an insulation disc for increasing resistance to electrostatic discharge, preventing contaminants from entering the printed wire assembly components, and preventing application of downward force to the potentiometer button. The insulation disc has a bottom surface that is dimensioned to be larger than the potentiometer button. The adjustment button includes one or more stops that trigger a fail safe operation mode where the tripping levels are automatically adjusted to higher or predetermined protective levels when the adjustment button is moved to those stop positions. Switch calibration is obviated and the simplified design reduces overall cost.

    摘要: A circuit interrupter provides a conducting path between two conductors and interrupts the conducting path in response to overcurrent conditions in the conductors. The interrupter includes a magnetic core around which the conductors are disposed. Each conductor is electrically coupled to an arc runner and a spanner is biased into contact with the arc runners to compete a conducting path between the conductors. A secondary response mechanism is provided adjacent to the core and includes arms extending around the core and a magnetic body. In response to overcurrent conditions of a first magnitude the body of the secondary response mechanism is attracted to the core causing the arms to displace the spanner out of contact with the arc runners. In response to overcurrent conditions of a second magnitude, such as due to direct short circuits, the spanner is repelled rapidly to a non-conducting position and the secondary response mechanism is attracted to the core to hold the spanner in the non-conducting position. The core shapes an electromagnetic field due to current in the conductors and the field causes extremely rapid expansion of arcs generated during movement of the spanner, resulting in very fast extinction of the arcs and a very brief turnoff time.
