A pair of front cushion support links and a pair of rear cushion support links are coupled between the seat cushion and the risers for pivotally supporting and guiding the seat cushion. A fold flat mechanism includes a transfer link operatively coupled between the rear cushion support link and the seat back for transferring pivotal movement of the seat back through the transfer link to each of the front and rear seat cushion support links to automatically move the seat assembly between a seating position wherein the seat back is in an upright position and the seat cushion is spaced above the floor, and a stowed position wherein the seat back is pivoted to a fold flat position and the seat cushion is lying flat against the floor.

    摘要: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat cushion and seat back for supporting a seat occupant. The seat back is operatively coupled to the seat cushion for selective pivotal movement between a plurality of reclined seating positions. The seat back includes a seat back frame. A head restraint is coupled to the seat back frame and defines a backset distance between the head restraint and the seat occupant's head. A mechanism operatively interconnects the seat back frame and the seat cushion for automatically tilting the seat back in response to pivotally adjusting the seat back in order to maintain the backset distance constant. When the seat back pivots rearward the seat back tilts forward, moving the head restraint toward the seat occupant's head. When the seat back pivots forward the seat back tilts rearward, moving the head restraint away from the seat occupant's head.

The seat cushion (12) includes a front portion and an opposite rear portion and the seat back (14) includes an upper portion and a lower portion positioned adjacent the seat cushion. The seat assembly (10) is positionable between a plurality of upright and flat bed positions. The seat assembly (10) includes a pair of links for positioning the seat assembly (10) between a forward facing or rearward facing and upright seating position. The links also position the seat in a first or second flat, bed, position with the seat back extending horizontally from either the front portion or the rear portion of the seat cushion (12).

    摘要: An automotive seat assembly (10) has a seat cushion and a seat back pivotally mounted to the seat cushion. The seat assembly includes a seat track mechanism having a lower track member (18) and an upper track member (20) supported by the lower track member (18) for movement between forward and rearward positions. An incremental locking mechanism is mounted between the upper and lower track members (18) for locking the track members in a desired position and for unlocking the track members to allow the upper track member (20) to move between the forward and rearward positions. A slide actuator is disposed adjacent the 30 locking mechanism and is moveable to an engaged position for disengaging the locking mechanism 46 and moving the upper track member (20) to a forward dump position. The seat assembly (10) also includes a positioning device which comprises a locator mounted to the upper track member (20) and moveable with the upper track member (20) as the upper track member (20) is moved to the forward dump position. The locator is interconnected to the slide actuator wherein the locator moves between a release position allowing the upper track member (20) to freely move relative to the lower track member (18) and a blocking position to align with a fixed stop which limits the movement of the upper track member (20) to a predetermined stop position upon rearward movement of the upper track member (20) from the forward dump position.

A cable (100) is coupled between the seat cushion and the guide plate mechanism for automatically sliding the adjustment mechanism between a first position pivoting the head restraint to the normal position and a second position pivoting the head restraint to the forward angled position in response to pivotal movement of the seat back between the upright position and the fully reclined position for continuously adjusting the position of the head restraint relative to the seat occupant's head.     摘要: A seat track assembly for adjusting a seat assembly of an automotive vehicle. The seat track assembly comprises a lower track and slidably coupled to an upper track. A locking mechanism includes a fixed lock plate secured to the lower track and having a first plurality of apertures. A moving lock plate is secured to the upper track and includes spaced apart and parallel upper and lower locking plates sandwiched on opposing sides of the fixed lock plate. Each of the upper and lower locking plates include a second plurality of apertures for aligning with the apertures in the fixed lock plate. A housing is mounted to the moving lock plate above the apertures. A pair of shear plates are slidably disposed within the housing and have opposing offset engagement fingers. The shear plates are biased to a locked position for selectively engaging the first and second apertures to lock and secure the upper track to the lower track. The shear plates are moveable to an unlocked position disengaged from the first and second apertures enabling the sliding movement between the upper track and the lower track. Additionally, at least one of the shear plates is engageable with the first and second apertures regardless of a relative position between the upper track and the lower track to provide infinite engagement of the locking mechanism between the upper and lower tracks.
