摘要:
Topical formulations of olopatadine for treatment of allergic or inflammatory disorders of the nose are disclosed. The aqueous formulations contain approximately 0.6% (w/v) of olopatadine.
摘要:
Formulations of glucocorticoids alone and in combination with anecortave acetate are useful for preventing and treating pathologic ocular angiogenesis and associated edema

The present invention is directed to the provision of multi-dose, ophthalmic compositions. The compositions possess sufficient antimicrobial activity to satisfy USP preservative efficacy requirements, as well as similar preservative standards (e.g., EP and JP). The compositions include at two different polyols in conjunction with borate, a preservative or both.
摘要:
Self-preserved, multi-dose ophthalmic compositions containing tobramycin are described. The compositions do not contain a conventional antimicrobial preservative, such as benzalkonium chloride. Rather, the compositions are self-preserved as a result of the inherent antimicrobial activity of tobramycin. The compositions preferably also contain either boric acid or, more preferably, a borate/polyol complex selected from the group consisting of borate/propylene glycol, borate/glycerol, and combinations thereof.

Injectable compositions of triamcinolone acetonide or anecortave acetate are disclosed. The compositions are particularly suitable for injection into the posterior segment of the eye to treat ophthalmic diseases.
摘要:
Improved ophthalmic irrigating solutions are described. The solutions include one or more drugs for controlling intraocular pressure, an antioxidant/free radical scavenger, electrolytes, a cellular energy source, bicarbonate, and a buffer. Methods of using the solutions in connection with ophthalmic surgical procedures are also described.
摘要:
Ophthalmic pharmaceutical compositions useful in controlling elevated intraocular pressure associated with glaucoma and ocular hypertension are described. The compositions comprise a combination of a beta-blocker to reduce the production of aqueous humor and carbachol to enhance the outflow of aqueous humor. A method of controlling elevated intraocular pressure with those compositions is also described.
摘要:
Disclosed are nonstinging, sustained release ophthalmic formulations. The formulations comprise a cationic drug, an acidic mucomimetic polymer and a polystyrene sulfonic acid polymer. In particular, formulations for the control of intraocular pressure and glaucoma are disclosed. Methods for use of the formulations are also disclosed.
