摘要: A method for removing ink from printed paper comprising: (a) pulping printed paper at least 25 wt % of which is old newsprint at a consistency of at least about 3% to obtain a pulp slurry; (b) treating the pulp slurry with an ink removing system, which system comprises: (i) a combination of lipase and at least one second enzyme chosen from amylase, xylanase or cellulase, and (ii) a non-ionic surfactant, in amounts effective to release ink from said pulp slurry, wherein the lipase is present in an amount of at least about 0.001 wt % based on the dry content of the pulp slurry and the ratio of the at least one second enzyme:lipase is at least about 1.2:1; and (c) separating the released ink from the pulp slurry, wherein the treating step is carried out prior to a deinking flotation stage.

摘要: A system displays web feed content on television. A web feed content aggregation system retrieves syndicated web feed content on a web subscription basis, wherein the web feed content aggregation system includes a library that is organized in a web genre tree format including a root node branching to at least one website node, and cataloged by website classes, feed categories and topics. A television content broadcast system broadcasts television content on a television subscription basis. The web feed content aggregation system and the television content broadcast system are interfaced as a function of an account association between a web feed content aggregation subscription account and a television content broadcast subscription account. The system makes additional content available to the user based on content they are watching, have saved for later viewing, have scheduled for future recording, or have searched for.

摘要: A determination is made as to whether a user has been logged off from the web-based application accessed through a web browser on a computer. If it is determined that the user has been logged off from the web-based application, then a new user interface is provided through the web browser. The new user interface may enable the user to enter user credentials. The user credentials are received through the new user interface. A request to validate the user based on the user credentials is transmitted. Upon transmitting the request to validate the user, an instruction to remove the new user interface is received when the user is validated. Upon receiving the instruction, a display of the web-based application is transformed by removing the new user interface.

摘要: A fuel cell is provided with an anode and a cathode. The anode is in electrical communication with an anode enzyme and the cathode is in electrical communication with a cathode enzyme. The anode enzyme is preferably an oxidase or a dehydrogenase. The cathode enzyme is a copper-containing enzyme, such as a lacasse, an ascorbate oxidase, a ceruloplasmine, or a bilirubin oxidase. Preferably, the cathode enzyme is operable under physiological conditions. Redox polymers serve to wire the anode enzyme to the anode and the cathode enzyme to the cathode. The fuel cell can be very small in size because it does not require a membrane, seal, or case. The fuel cell can be used in connection with a biological system, such as a human, as it may operate at physiological conditions. By virtue of its size and operability at physiological conditions, the fuel cell is of particular interest for applications calling for a power source implanted in a human body, such as a variety of medical applications.

摘要: A system and method for providing a credit card with multiple lines of credit. One of the disclosed methods include, for example, analyzing credit information of a cardholder to determine a level of risk associated with the cardholder; establishing a general purpose credit line based on the determined level of risk associated with the cardholder, the general purpose credit line being set as a revolving credit line; establishing a private label credit line based on the determined level of risk associated with the cardholder, the private label credit line being set as a revolving credit line; and issuing the credit card to the cardholder with the established general purpose credit line and private label credit line.
