    摘要: It is a subject to suitably decrease the rigidity of blocks, to generate suitable collapsing of the blocks, to sufficiently exhibit edge effects of sipes, and to improve braking performances and the like in the medium term of wear and thereafter; and for solving this subject, in a pneumatic tire formed with blocks on its tread and engraved with sipes 11 on the blocks, the sipes 11 are classified into a surface portion 12, an intermediate portion 13, and a bottom portion 14 in a depth direction from a tread surface 17 up to sipes bottom 18, wherein the surface portion 12 and the bottom portion 14 open in a wave-shaped form in which crest portions 21 and trough portions 22 of the wave-shaped form extend in directions vertical to the tread, while the intermediate portion 13 opens in a wave-shaped manner in which the crest portions 21 and trough portions 22 of the wave-shaped form extend in a zigzag-like manner.

    摘要: In a pneumatic tire in which the sipe extending in a direction crossing a tire circumferential direction is provided on a land portion (block) of a tread portion, a wide part having a wide groove width is provided at three or more places in a length direction of the sipe, and the wide part and a narrow part are formed alternately on a tread surface along the sipe length direction. A plurality of the wide parts are extended in a sipe depth direction from the tread surface, and are provided by changing extended lengths in the sipe depth direction.

    摘要: A pneumatic tire comprises a plurality of main grooves extending along a tire circumferential direction, and shoulder lateral grooves extending to an outer side in a tire width direction from a shoulder main groove positioned in an outermost side in the tire width direction among the main grooves, the main grooves and the shoulder lateral grooves being arranged on a tread surface, wherein a depression is formed on a wall surface of a land portion facing to the shoulder lateral groove, in a state in which it is not exposed to a surface of the land portion, and wherein the depression is formed in such a manner that a height of the depression in a depth direction of the shoulder lateral groove is reduced toward an inner side in the tire width direction, and an exposure length of the depression becomes longer in accordance with a progress of an abrasion of the land portion.

    摘要: A pneumatic tire with improved steering stability without raising air columnar resonance noise is provided. The pneumatic tire comprises first oblong holes 11 having an opening portion of a trapezoidal shape that is elongated in the depth direction of a main groove 1 and whose depth D1 on the tread surface side is shallower than a depth D2 on the groove bottom side and second oblong holes 12 having an opening portion of a trapezoidal shape that is elongated in the depth direction of the main groove and whose depth D4 on the groove bottom side is shallower than a depth D3 on the tread surface side, wherein number of the first oblong holes 11 is 50 to 100% of the sum of oblong holes 11 and 12, the depths D2 and D3 are at least not less than 0.5 mm and 0.05 to 0.3 times a width W of the main groove 1, the depths D1, D4 are not greater than 0.1 times a depth D of the main groove 1, widths w of the oblong holes 11, 12 are at least not less than 0.5 mm and 0.05 to 0.2 times the width W of the main groove 1, and heights H of the oblong holes 11, 12 in the depth direction of the main groove are 50 to 80% of the depth D of the main groove 1.
