摘要: The invention relates to a magnet system for biosensors. To achieve a magnetic system, which can switch between attraction force and repulsion force, near the sensor surface, the magnetic system has at least one coil (1) and a ferromagnetic open ring system (3), where both magnetic pole faces are adjacent to each other over a gap (4) in which the biosensor is located, and where the coil (1) or the ferromagnetic core (2) in the coil, or an inner part of the ferromagnetic core in relation to each other are shiftable, in order to change the magnetic force direction near the biosensor surface.

摘要: A device such as a disposable cartridge has an RFID tag (30) having an antenna (10), and a fluidic element (20, 160), the antenna having a shape to at least partly enclose an area, at least a part of the fluidic element being located in this area. By having such a structure, the device can be made more compact or the antenna can be made larger, and hence the costs for a given performance can be reduced, or the storage space for a given number of devices can be reduced.

The sensor corresponds with the magnetic field in a way that the magnetic source creates inhomogeneous magnetic field lines that results in a magnetic force towards the magnetic system and which subsequently or adjacently exerts a magnetic force directed away from the magnetic system with all magnetic forces generated at the same magnetic source.

摘要: The invention relates to a cartridge (100) and a corresponding sensor device for the detection of target components in a liquid sample. The cartridge (100) comprises a sample chamber(SC), at least two reservoirs(131, 132) that can be furnished with magnetic particles(MP, MP′), and at least two corresponding sensitive zones (121, 122) in which solved magnetic particles and/or target components can be detected. When a magnetic actuation field(B) of a given configuration is established in the sample chamber, the magnetic particles of different reservoirs migrate predominantly to different sensitive zones. Thus a mixing of magnetic particles can be avoided.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of measuring the concentration of molecules in a sample fluid or analyte. Said method comprises the step of mixing the fluid with label particles within a cartridge, wherein the label particles are adapted to capture said molecules and to bind to a sensor surface of said cartridge. Then, the label particles are sedimented towards the sensor surface and the amount of label particles close to the sensor surface is measured. Subsequently, the label particles, which are not bound to the surface, are removed in a “washing” step and finally the amount of label particles close to the sensor surface is measured again.
