摘要: An AC ripple current reduction circuit for an AC converter having: an AC voltage source at the input; a first capacitor across which the circuit output voltage is provided; a first, main inductor in series with the first capacitor and the input; an auxiliary circuit including a second capacitor and a transformer coupled to the main inductor, the secondary of the transformer being in series with the second capacitor; and a means for enabling the flow of a time varying voltage across the first and second capacitors that has a frequency much less than the ripple frequency of the current in the main inductor.

摘要: A sprinkler assembly including a pressure regulator and a flow stop element combined in a single assembly. In one embodiment, the sprinkler includes a sprinkler body in fluid communication with a water supply to provide water to the sprinkler, a riser movably mounted in the sprinkler body and in fluid communication with the sprinkler body such that the riser rises up and out of the sprinkler body when water is provided to the sprinkler, a nozzle assembly mounted on a top end of the riser and in fluid communication with the riser; and a regulation element mounted in the riser and in contact with a portion of the nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly holds the regulation member in an open position to allow flow of water to the nozzle assembly and to maintain a substantially constant water pressure in the nozzle assembly.

摘要: Systems and methods for assigning threads in a processor are disclosed. The method generally includes assigning one or more static threads to each port of a plurality of ports and processing incoming packets with the static threads. The port numbers of incoming packets processed by the static threads are stored and the number of packets processed by the static threads for each port is counted. An average thread workload for each port is calculated by dividing the number of packets processed by the number of static threads assigned to the port. A dynamic thread is assigned to the highest average thread workload port.

摘要: A flush cap assembly for a sprinkler head in an irrigation system comprising an array of sprinkler heads, the flush cap having a body portion adapted to be removably attached to a sprinkler head, an opening in the body portion communicating with a fluid flow path in the sprinkler head through which water can exit the sprinkler head during flushing of the irrigation system, and a cover portion which is manually movable to cover and uncover the opening in the body portion to selectively prevent water from exiting a particular sprinkler head during flushing of the irrigation system. Also disclosed is a method of preparing an irrigation system for use in which flush cap assemblies as described are employed. The cover portion may be rotatable or otherwise operable, and may include an opening which is alignable with the body opening to permit water to exit during flushing.

摘要: An actively quenched lamp includes a lamp and an active quenching means configured to quench the lamp. An infrared (“IR”) thermography imaging system includes at least one lamp configured to heat a surface of an object to be imaged, at least one active quenching means configured to quench the lamp, and an IR camera configured to capture a number of IR image frames of the object. A method, for actively controlling flash duration for IR thermography, includes generating an initial control signal T0, a lamp control signal T1, and a control signal T2. The method further includes activating a quenching means in response to initial control signal T0, to allow current I to flow to a lamp, activating the lamp in response to lamp trigger signal T1, and turning off the quenching means in response to control signal T2 to cut off the current I to the lamp.
