摘要： A base headboard for supporting the back of an injured person's head has an elongated slot with teeth racks disposed on either side of the injured person's head. The headboard also comprises straps for attaching to a spine board. Two side head blocks are removably attached to the headboard using plunger-type locks that engage an elongated slot on each side of a center portion of the headboard. Each lock is engaged to a slot of the headboard through a separate elongated slot in the corresponding head block. Advantageously, a head block may be adjusted by moving the engagement of the lock along each independent slot in the headboard and head block, respectively. In addition, a head block may be rotated around its lock.

摘要： A device that provides a gateway between a public switching telephone network and a gateway device comprises a controller interface including telephony circuitry, power circuitry, and a master cellular phone circuit. The controller is connected to at least one public switching network. The controller interface further includes a plurality of cartridge slots connected to the telephony circuitry and the master cellular phone circuitry, wherein the telephony circuitry links the master cellular phone circuitry to the public switching telephone network. The device further includes a plurality of transceiver cartridges removeably connected to the cartridge slots of the controller interface. The transceiver cartridges are operably configured to wirelessly link the master cellular phone circuitry to the cellular networks. Additionally, the controller interface circuitry is operably configured to switch between land line telephone network and the plurality of cellular networks based on preset conditions.

摘要： A signal coupler is provided which decreases the number of discreet elements required to provide low pass filtering for the plain old telephone service (POTS). The low pass filtering is shifted to areas of the signal coupler circuit which do not operate with the high battery voltage present on telephone lines The low voltage filtering reduces the need for components which are capable of operating in the high voltage environment and therefore reduces the space on the circuit board which is occupied by each of the signal couplers. In this way, the number of individual subscriber lines that a given circuit board can accommodate can be increased.
