摘要: The invention concerns a high frequency surgery apparatus for cutting and/or coagulating biological tissue and methods of operating same. The high frequency surgery apparatus includes at least one high frequency generator which in operation forms a high frequency circuit with the tissue to be treated, with the production of an arc, and at least one measuring and calculating device which is connected for signal transmission to the high frequency circuit and which is adapted in operation to ascertain both a DC voltage in the high frequency circuit and also the amplitudes of at least one even and at least one odd harmonic of a fundamental frequency of the high frequency generator and to form a first tissue parameter representative of the kind of tissue to be treated from the relationship of the sum of the amplitudes of the even and the odd harmonics to the DC voltage and to output a tissue signal dependent on the first tissue parameter for subsequent processing.

摘要: A first device transmits messages to a second device. The first device keeps track of messages that have already been transmitted from the first device to the second device, experiences an interruption in transmission of messages at the first device, and resumes the transmission from the first device following the interruption. Resuming the transmission includes transmitting only messages that have not already been completely transmitted from the first device to the second device.

摘要: A printing unit for a digital multi-color printing machine, in particular for an electrophotographically operating, preferably sheet-printing printing machine, said printing unit comprising at least one transfer element (11), preferably an imaging cylinder (31) and/or a cylinder bearing a rubber blanket, for the transfer of a printing image. The invention provides a multi-color printing machine which also allows the production of high-quality prints with fewer colors, i.e., in a more cost-effective manner than if a multi-color print were produced with the same printing machine. In accordance with the invention, this object is achieved by a printing unit for a digital multi-color printing machine, which is characterized in that the transfer element (11) is moved from a transfer position into an inoperative position.

摘要: Software and content used by the software are developed on a first computer system for use on a second computer system. Transferable forms of the developed software and content that may be used by the second computer system are created. The transferable form of the developed software is made available for transfer to the second computer system. The transferable form of the developed content is transferred to a content server that makes a transferable form of content used by software running on the second computer system available for receipt by the second computer system. The transferable form of the developed software from the first computer system and the transferable form of the content from the content server are received at the second computer system. The received software and content are translated into usable forms of the software and content that may be used by the second computer system.

摘要: An optical device assembly includes an optical device. The optical device has an optical fiber led from the device with an anti-kink protector, and also a transmitting and/or receiving module having such an optical device. The anti-kink protector is made of a material and/or the anti-kink protector is sheathed with a material that is electrically conductive or highly absorbent to electromagnetic waves. The transmitting and/or receiving module is constructed in such a way that the anti-kink protector is disposed in the area of an opening of the module housing and at the same time is coupled electrically to the module housing. The electrical coupling of the electrically conductive anti-kink protector to the module housing results in a considerable reduction in the interference radiation that emerges.
