摘要: A seat assembly having a headrest for supporting the head of a seat occupant. The seat assembly includes a seat back, a support post disposed on the seat back, a headrest being moveably disposed on the support post, and a latch mechanism moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The headrest is simultaneously moveable in multiple directions when the latch mechanism is disposed in the unlatched position.

摘要: A method for the consecutive writing of performance quantity data to a non-volatile memory, in particular in a control device in a motor vehicle. The method encompasses the operations of determining a write address, which defines an address space for the writing of a performance quantity datum to be written, the address space being directly contiguous with a memory area occupied by a previously written performance quantity datum, and of writing the performance quantity datum to be written, to the address space of the non-volatile memory defined by the write address. In the determination operation, the write address corresponds directly to an address datum assigned to the most recently written performance quantity data, which is stored in a referencing datum in the non-volatile memory, or it is determined therefrom with the aid of an address offset that is independent of the size of the previously written performance quantity data.

摘要: Emulsifier-free antifoams are obtainable by mixing a) from 80 to 99% by weight of at least one finely divided, virtually water-insoluble, inert solid with b) from 1 to 20% by weight of at least one hydrophobic, organic compound which has an antifoam action and is solid at room temperature in the absence of a solvent in a shear gradient such that the particle size of the compounds (b) which have an antifoam action is reduced to a mean particle size of from 0.5 to 15 μm, emulsifier-free oil-in-water dispersions of mixtures of (a) and (b) are prepared by mixing the component (a) in an amount of from 80 to 99% by weight with the compounds of component (b) in an amount of from 1 to 20% by weight in the absence of emulsifiers in an extruder or kneader in a manner such that the mean particle size of the component (b) in the mixture is brought to 0.5 to 15 μm, at up to 100° C., and emulsifying the mixture in water, and the oil-in-water dispersions thus obtainable are used as antifoams and/or deaerators for aqueous, disperse or nondisperse liquids, in particular as antifoams and/or deaerators in the paper industry, in the food industry and in wastewater treatment plants.

摘要: A bumper for vehicles, particularly motor vehicles, includes a dimensionally stable member and an elastic covering forming an end region of the vehicle body. At least one light respectively is inserted into laterally exterior receiving pockets of the covering and is held in position at the covering. The light has a light-transmitting covering element on the side facing the end region. It is provided that, on each covering element, a guard is provided locally which projects slightly with respect to the adjacent elastic covering and is constructed in one piece with the covering element. In the area of the guard, in the event of a 30° pendulum crash, the covering element is supported on a member structure of the vehicle body situated behind the covering element.
