摘要: A system and method for determining the location of a wireless handset on a premises is described. The system comprises a plurality of beacons and a plurality of sensors associated with the premises. The sensors are configured to detect a radio frequency signal comprising a signal identifier from the beacons. A plurality of virtual reference point fingerprints are generated based on the beacon signal strengths detected by the sensors. The virtual reference points comprise signal strengths for each of the plurality of beacons estimated at intervals throughout the premises. The system further comprises a wireless handset configured to receive a handset fingerprint comprising a signal identifier and a signal strength from the beacons. The location of the wireless handset is determined based on a comparison between the handset fingerprint signal strengths and the signal strengths of a subset of the virtual reference point fingerprints.

摘要: A sheet size detection device for detecting a size of sheets which are held in a sheet tray is disclosed. The device comprises first and second guide members, first and second brackets, and a plurality of switches. The first guide member is movable in accordance with a first dimension of the sheets. The second guide member is movable in accordance with a second dimension of the sheets. Each bracket is operatively connected to its respective guide member and includes a plurality of slots extending through a solid surface. The plurality of switches is configured for selective engagement by at least one of the brackets. The solid surface and the plurality of slots of each bracket are configured to interact with one another to selectively engage the plurality of switches. The selective engagement of the plurality of switches enables conveyance of two dimensions of the sheet size.

摘要: A method and apparatus is disclosed for enabling advanced visualization techniques for conveying analytics information to a user. For the presentation of analytics data within a natural language statement or series of statements, a template is stored in a template database and includes natural language statements with data fields embedded within the statements. The data fields are populated with the appropriate analytics data such that the resulting reporting statement reads like a conversational statement of data and trends. Other advanced data visualizations of analytics helps one to quickly understand changes in key metrics for an entire account, compare the performance of reports across profiles, plot RSS feed events against metrics, and easily share data with others in ones organization.

摘要: A hammer and hammer head comprising a striking head with a striking surface thereon that defines a front of the hammer, and an interface section including at leas one frontal extractor. In one embodiment, a plurality of frontal extractors are provided that are formed by a slot, the interface section including a groove that extends through the frontal extractors. In one embodiment, the slot is sized and/or magnetized to allow a head of a nail to be supported therein so that the nail is cantilevered substantially perpendicular relative to the striking surface. A method of extracting a nail from a surface is also provided.
