Abstract: Systems and methods of managing a certificate associated with a component located at a remote location from a certificate authority system are provided. A certificate request is received, wherein the certificate request comprises a key associated with the component. A certificate is generated corresponding to the key received in the certificate request, and a validity status of the certificate is caused to be set to invalid. The certificate is provided to the component and it is determined whether the component matches the certificate. Upon determining that the component matches the certificate, the validity status is caused to be set to valid.

Abstract: A method for partially unmasking an object in a video stream comprises: displaying a first video stream in which objects are covered by privacy masks; receiving user input regarding a selection of an object being covered by a privacy mask, wherein the object has a first portion being associated with a first privacy level and a second portion being associated with a second, higher, privacy level; checking that a permission associated with the user input grants access to video data depicting object portions being associated with the first privacy level; giving access to video data depicting the first portion of the object; and displaying a second video stream which differs from the first video stream in that it includes the video data depicting the first portion of the object, while the second portion of the object is still covered by a privacy mask.

Abstract: A method of generating a segmentation outcome which indicates individual instances of one or more object classes for an image in a sequence of images is disclosed. The method comprises: determining (501) a coherent region of the image; processing (502) the image to determine a tensor representing pixel-specific confidence scores; generating (503) a series of temporary segmentation masks for the coherent region, wherein each temporary segmentation mask is generated by interpreting the tensor with respect to a single object class using a different temporary confidence score threshold; evaluating (504) the series of temporary segmentation masks to determine if an object mask condition is met; depending on the outcome of the evaluation, setting (505) the temporary confidence score threshold as a final confidence score threshold for the pixels of the temporary segmentation mask, or setting (505) a default confidence score threshold as a final confidence score threshold for the coherent region; and generating (506) a final segmentation outcome for the image.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for controlling a Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera. A video stream is provided by the PTZ camera. The video stream includes a main image and a smaller picture-in-picture overlay. The main image and the overlay show the same view. The overlay has both a higher frame rate and a lower resolution compared to the main image. A movement control instruction is received, by the PTZ camera, in response to an evaluation of at least one of the main image and the overlay.

Abstract: A method for setting a motion trigger level is used in detection of motion in a video stream depicting a scene which includes receiving data pertaining to a video stream depicting the scene; dividing the scene into a plurality of specific portions; wherein each image frame of the video stream comprises multiple blocks of pixels, wherein each specific portion of the scene is associated with one or more block of pixels; and for each specific portion of the scene: evaluating, over time, statistical features of bitrate associated with an encoding of block of pixels pertaining to the specific portion of the scene; determining a motion base level based on the evaluated statistical features of bitrate associated with the encoding of block of pixels pertaining to the specific portion of the scene; and setting a motion trigger level based on the motion base level.
