Abstract:
Compounds of the general formula wherein X is oxygen or sulphur, aryl is a phenyl radical which may also be substituted with halogen or nitro groups, especially with chlorine groups, R1 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl or alkenyl radical or halogen-substituted lower alkyl radical or aryl group, R2 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl or aryl, or halogen-substituted lower alkyl radicals and R2 may also be an alkylene radical linking the whole phosphoric or thio-phosphoric diaryl-ester-amide group to another same or different group of this type and R1 and R2, together with the nitrogen atom, may also form a saturated heterocyclic ring system, used as active ingredient in rodenticidal compositions (see Group VI) are prepared by amidation of phosphoric or thiophosphoric acid chlorides or by the conversion of amidophosphoric acid or amidothiophosphoric acid chlorides with the corresponding phenols or phenolates. In an Example the compound of the formula is prepared by reacting parachlorophenol dissolved in aqueous sodium hydroxide with dimethylamidophosphoric acid dichloride. In another example the compound of the formula is prepared by reacting O,O-di-para-chlorophenyl phosphoric acid ester monochloride with ammonium hydroxide. Many other compounds are given including ethylene-1,2,-diamido-N,N1-(bis - phosphoric or thio - phosphoric acids-4,41-dichloro-diphenyl ester). Several other products are specified.ALSO:A rodenticidal composition comprises as active ingredient, preferably in the proportion by weight of 0,05 to 1% a compound of the general formula wherein X is oxygen or sulphur, aryl is a phenyl radical which may also be substituted with halogen or nitro groups, especially with chlorine groups, R1 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl or alkenyl radical or halogen-substituted lower alkyl radical or aryl group, R2 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl or aryl, or halogen-substituted lower alkyl radicals and R2 may also be an alkylene radical linking the whole phosphoric or thiophosphoric diaryl-ester-amide group to another, same or different group of this type and R1 and R2, together with the nitrogen atom, may also form a saturated heterocyclic ring system, the active ingredient being in an aqueous emulsion containing a suitable emulsifier. Many specified active ingredients are given.
