Abstract: A method includes determining, for a conversion between a video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, a size of prediction block corresponding to the video block according to a rule. The method also includes performing the conversion based on the determining. The rule specifies that a first size of the prediction block is determined responsive to whether a prediction refinement using optical flow technique is used for coding the video block. The video block has a second size and is coded using an affine merge mode or an affine advanced motion vector prediction mode.

Abstract: A method implemented by a video coding apparatus. The method includes determining that a scalability dimension information (SDI) supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message precedes a multiview acquisition information (MAI) SEI message in decoding order whenever an access unit (AU) contains both the SDI SEI message and the MAI SEI message; and performing a conversion between a video and a bitstream of the video based on the SDI SEI message and the MAI SEI message. A corresponding video coding apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium are also disclosed.

Abstract: A mechanism for processing video data is disclosed. A conversion is performed between a visual media data and a visual media data file. The visual media data file includes pictures in layers, a random access recovery point (roll) sample group specifying access points into the layers, and a grouping type parameter. The grouping type parameter specifies a correspondence between the access points and relevant layers of the layers. The grouping type parameter includes a layer identifier method identification code parameter specifying that the access points include one or more of: one or more gradual decoding refresh (GDR) pictures; and one or more mixed network abstraction layer (NAL) unit pictures with both an intra random access point (IRAP) subpicture and a non-IRAP subpicture.

Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for encoding, decoding or transcoding digital video are described. One example method of video processing includes performing a conversion between a video and a bitstream of the video including multiple layers, wherein the bitstream includes a plurality of supplemental enhancement information, SEI, messages associated with an access unit, AU, or a decoding unit, DU, of a particular output layer set, OLS, or a particular layer, wherein the plurality of SEI messages, including a message type different from scalable nesting type, is based on a format rule, and wherein the format rule specifies that each of the plurality of SEI messages has a same SEI payload content due to the plurality of SEI messages being associated with the AU or the DU of the particular OLS or the particular layer.
