摘要: An apparatus for decoding a sequence of pictures from a data stream is configured for decoding a picture of the sequence by: deriving a residual transform signal of the picture from the data stream; combining the residual transform signal with a buffered transform signal of a previous picture of the sequence so as to obtain a transform signal of the picture, the transform signal representing the picture in spectral components; and subjecting the transform signal to a spectral-to-spatial transformation, wherein the buffered transform signal comprises a selection out of spectral components representing the previous picture.

摘要: Provided is an image decoding method including: generating an intra prediction value of a current sample based on a position of the current sample in a current block and an intra prediction mode of the current block; determining, based on the position of the current sample in the current block, a sample value of at least one filtering reference sample to be filtered and a first weight with respect to the filtering reference sample and a second weight with respect to the intra prediction value of the current sample; generating a filtered prediction sample value of the current sample based on the determined sample value of the filtering reference sample to be filtered, the intra prediction value of the current sample, the first weight with respect to the filtering reference sample, and the second weight with respect to the intra prediction value of the current sample; and generating a prediction block of the current block, the prediction block including the filtered prediction sample value of the current sample.

摘要: Different implementations are described, particularly implementations for video encoding and decoding are presented including a method for deblocking an image. According to an implementation, in a method for deblocking an image, at least one boundary is determined between a first block of samples and a second block of samples: a boundary strength is determined according to at least one of a prediction mode of the first block and a prediction mode of the second block; and samples of the first and second blocks neighboring the at least one boundary are filtered according to the boundary strength. Advantageously, in case the prediction mode of the first block is a weighted prediction mode, the boundary strength further depends on the relative weight of samples used in predicting the first block of samples according to the weighted prediction mode of the first block and reciprocally for the second block.

摘要: A method for transmitting a computer display image. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a pixel boundary, referenced to a sub-tile boundary within a grid of tiles, for a changed portion of the image; identifying i) a uniform tile within the changed portion referenced to a first tile and ii) at least one hybrid sub-tile, associated with the sub-tile boundary, within the changed portion referenced to a second tile adjacent the first tile; engaging an SIMD vector processor to transform the uniform tile to an exit matrix, transform the at least one hybrid sub-tile to at least one DC coefficient, and transform the exit matrix to a first DC coefficient and the at least one DC coefficient to a second DC coefficient; quantizing, encoding and transmitting coefficients of the first and second tiles; and transmitting a binary mask specification for the changed portion adjusted to the sub-tile boundary.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for encoding and decoding an image signal and to corresponding apparatuses therefor. In particular, during the encoding and/or decoding of an image signal filtering with at least two filters is performed. The sequence of the filter application and possibly the filters are selected and the filtering is applied in the selected filtering order and with the selected filters. The determination of the sequence of applying the filters may be performed either separately in the same way at the encoder and at the decoder, or, it may be determined at the encoder and signaled to the decoder.

摘要: Decoder processor hardware reproduces a support plane including a set of support values. The set of support values is derived from combining a sequence of multiple original sets of values. The decoder processor hardware receives compensation information. The decoder processor hardware utilizes the compensation information to produce preliminary renditions of the multiple original sets of values based on the set of support values. Encoder processor hardware processes a sequence of original sets of values. The encoder processor hardware utilizes the values of the original sets in the sequence to produce a set of support values, the set of support values representing a baseline to reproduce a rendition of each of the original sets of values. The encoder processor hardware generates reconstruction data to include data corresponding to the set of support values, the reconstruction data indicates how to reconstruct the original sets of values using the set of support values.

摘要: Methods of data encoding using trees formed with logic gates are described which lead to spatial compression of image data. Data encoding is achieved using a five-level wavelet transform, such as the Haar or the 2/10 transform. A dual transform engine is used, the first and engine being used for the first part of the first-level transform, the second part of the first-level transform and the subsequent-level transforms being performed by the second transform engine within a time interval which is less than or equal to the time taken by the first transform engine to effect the part-transform. Each bit plane of the resulting coefficients is then encoded by forming a tree structure from the bits and OR logical combinations thereof. Redundant data are removed from the resulting tree structure, and further data can be removed by using a predetermined compression profile. The resulting blocks of compressed data are of variable length and are packaged with sync words and index words for transmission so that the location and identity of the transformed data blocks can be determined from the received signal.

摘要: A video coding device generates first and second components of a current picture. Additionally, the video coding device determines a first parameter and a second parameter. The first and second parameters are each based on a value of a current sample in the first component. The video coding device applies a cross-component filter to the current sample, thereby determining a filtered value of the current sample based on the first parameter, the second parameter, and one or more cross-component samples. Each of the one or more cross-component samples is in the second component.
