    Abstract: A system for treating tissue includes an applicator having a bushing and a control member and a clip assembly having a capsule with a channel extending therethrough. The channel includes proximal and distal portions. The distal portion extends distally from the proximal portion and flaring outward in a single plane to form opposing flared sections. The assembly also includes clip arms include proximal ends slidably received within the channel to move the arms between tissue receiving and tissue clipping configurations. The assembly further includes a yoke including a distal portion connected to the arms and a proximal portion configured to be connected to the member so that longitudinal movement of the member relative to the capsule moves the arms between the tissue receiving and clipping configurations. The yoke is positioned in the capsule so that the yoke is deformable in the plane in which the capsule flares outward.

    Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to medical devices. More particularly, the present disclosure pertains to tissue clip devices and related systems and methods. In an embodiment, a tissue clip may include a grasper including jaws at a first end, and a spring portion at a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending along a length of the grasper from the first end to the second end, wherein the spring portion is configured to bias the jaws toward each other. A wedge may be slidably disposed between the jaws such that an apex of the wedge is oriented toward the spring portion. A filament may be coupled to the wedge at a first end of the filament and may extend through a channel of the spring portion of the grasper to a second end of the filament.

Proximal ends of the clip arms engage a distal portion of a central member slidably received within a channel of a capsule to be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The central member includes the distal portion and a proximal portion connected to one another via a releasable connection which releases when subject to a force exceeding a predetermined threshold level. The system also includes an applicator releasably coupled to the clip assembly. The applicator includes an outer sleeve through which a control member extends. A distal end of the control member engages a cavity of the proximal portion to move the central member relative to the capsule. A lumen of the outer sleeve is sized and shaped to slidably receive the capsule therein.
