摘要： Apparatus for transmitting motion to a moveable body comprising: a first bar having ends; two articulated arms, each comprising first and second arms connected at a joint having an axis about which the first and second arms rotate, wherein the first arms are of equal length, the second arms are of equal length and the second arm of each articulated arm is connected to a different end of the bar at a joint having an axis about which second arm and bar rotate; a mount connected to the first arm of each articulated arm at a joint having an axis about which first arm rotates; a second bar coupled to each articulated arm at a joint having an axis about which the second bar rotates; and a piezoelectric motor coupled to the first bar controllable to apply a force selectively in either direction along the bar's length; wherein, the joints are configured so that all the axes are substantially parallel and the first arms are parallel and the second arms are parallel for all rotations about the axes.

摘要： A piezoelectric motor including a rotor, a stator including a piezoelectric material having axial polarization, the stator including at least three pairs of electrodes spaced from one another on a top end face thereof and a common electrode on a base end face thereof, and slabs affixed to the stator at spacings between the electrodes, wherein the rotor is pressed towards the slabs by a pre-load force, wherein when a positive charge is applied to a first of the electrodes and a negative charge is applied to a second of the electrodes and an electric common port is applied to the common electrode, D33 piezoelectric phenomenon is created, thereby causing the spacings between the electrodes to bend and the slabs to tilt, thus applying a frictional pushing side force against the rotor to cause the rotor to rotate.

摘要： A non-intrusive monitoring optical connection between two fiber optic lines including a sending fiber optic end that emits light to a first lens that collimates the light to a larger diameter parallel beam of light that enters a tunnel, a second lens that focuses the light from the tunnel to an end of a receiving fiber optic line, a mirror disposed in the tunnel between the first and second lenses, which reflects and diverts part of the parallel beam of light to a diverting tunnel, and a second diverting mirror, disposed at a non-zero angle to a longitudinal axis of the diverting tunnel, which directs the beam from the diverting tunnel into a second diverting tunnel wherein it is collimated by a third lens, disposed in the second diverting tunnel, to an end of a monitoring fiber optic line.
