Abstract:
A capsule endoscope includes an enclosure with a transparent section, a illumination unit arranged to illuminate an object to be observed via the transparent section, an image unit disposed in the enclosure, a reflecting unit disposed in the enclosure and arranged to direct light from the object to the image unit to form an image of the object, and a driving unit comprising a piezoelectric motor arranged to rotate the reflecting unit relative to the enclosure.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a similarity processing method, an apparatus, a server and a storage medium, and relates to the fields of information processing and natural language processing. The specific implementation solution is as follows: acquiring a first character string and a second character string; determining a pronunciation pattern similarity and a character pattern similarity between the first character string and the second character string; and determining a comprehensive similarity between the first character string and the second character string, based on the pronunciation pattern similarity and the character pattern similarity.
Abstract:
A security virtual machine is provided in a network including a resource shared among two or more virtual machines. All data traffic from each virtual machine to or from the shared resource is transmitted over an encrypted channel to the security virtual machine. Each connection between a virtual machine and the security virtual machine is maintained as a separate encrypted channel, preventing one virtual machine from accessing data sent to or from another virtual machine, even though the virtual machines are all sharing the same resource.
Abstract:
A platform comprising: a base; a first platform unit rotatably mounted to the base and being rotatable about a first axis relative to the base; a second platform unit rotatably mounted to the first platform unit and be rotatable about a second axis relative to the first platform unit; and a flexible transmitting device connected between the base and the first platform unit and/or the first platform unit and the second platform unit for transmitting power and/or data. The flexible transmitting device is arranged to wind about the first axis when the first platform unit is rotated about the first axis and/or wind about the second axis when the second platform unit is rotated about the second axis.
Abstract:
A lens driving device, comprises a base; a casing fixed to the base; a coil bracket disposed within the casing; a coil wound on the coil bracket, a spring disposed within the casing, a drive rod; and a lens holder; wherein, one end of the spring is fixed to the base; one end of the drive rod is fixed to the other end of the spring, and the other end of the drive rod extends out of the casing. The lens holder is slidably fixed to the exposed portion of the drive rod. The lens holder is held stationary with respect to the drive rod by static friction between the drive rod and the lens holder. A driving signal may be applied to the coil to move the lens holder. The driving signal has the characteristic of making the current flowing through the coil slowly increase and then rapidly decrease, or to rapidly increase and then slowly decrease. The drive current is preferably a sawtooth pulse train, with each pulse causing movement of the lens holder in the micron range or below.
Abstract:
Provided herein are isolated nucleic acid molecule corresponding to miR145 that are useful in treating colon cancer. The disclosed miR145 nucleic acids specifically bind the 3′ UTR within endogenous IRS-I such as to suppress or inhibit colon cell proliferation.
Abstract:
A modulator for an optical transceiver is disclosed. The modulator has two quarter-wave stack mirrors composed of alternating dielectric layers with an optically absorbing layer sandwiched in between to form the vertical resonant cavity. The optically absorbing layer is made of semiconductor nanocrystals embedded in a dialectic material. The device is configured to operate near the saturation point of the absorption layer. By adjusting the biasing voltage across the absorption layer, the saturation threshold of the semiconductor nanocrystals is altered, resulting in the overall reflectivity of the resonant cavity to vary. The modulator is configured to be fabricated as the extension of the backend process of Si CMOS.

Abstract:
A crawling system crawls a web site initially in a pattern detection phase and subsequently in a pattern usage phase. The pattern detection phase attempts to identify patterns of references to pages that contain informational content of interest and patterns of references to pages that contain little informational content of interest. During the pattern usage phase, the crawling system crawls the web site. When the crawling system encounters a reference contained on an accessed page, the crawling system determines whether the reference matches a reference pattern. If the reference matches a reference pattern associated with pages that contain informational content of interest, the crawling system accesses the referenced page. If, however, the reference matches a reference pattern of pages with little informational content, then the crawling system discards that reference without accessing the referenced page.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a new and improved heavy oil hydrocracking process using a multimetallic liquid catalyst in a slurry-bed reactor, particularly an improvement of lightweight treatment of heavy oil in the petroleum processing technology. According to the present invention, a slurry-bed hydrocracking reactor and a highly dispersed multimetallic liquid catalyst are mainly applied during the process. A fixed-bed hydrotreating reactor is also used on line to enhance lightweight oil yield from heavy oil under normal pressure.
