    Abstract: A semiconductor wafer has multiple individual dies containing integrated circuits arrayed for singulation and test cycling circuitry for test cycling individual dies. A passivation layer overlies the dies, with contact openings being provided through the passivation layer to Vcc and Vss pads. The semiconductor wafer also has Vcc and Vss buses provided atop the passivation layer and overlying the individual dies to connect with the underlying Vcc and Vss pads, respectively. In this manner, application of voltage to the Vcc and Vss buses provides simultaneous test cycling of all the underlying dies on the semiconductor wafer. A semiconductor wafer processing fixture for conducting the burn-in test cycling of such a semiconductor wafer is also disclosed. The fixture has a wafer cavity sized to receive and register the semiconductor wafer in a selected orientation and an electrical connector having pins designed to contact the overlying busing structure on the semiconductor wafer. A Vcc voltage is applied to some of the pins, while a Vss voltage is applied to the remaining pins in order to supply power via the bussing to the entire semiconductor wafer.

    Abstract: An electrical termination circuit for a traveling wave optoelectronic device is disclosed. The electrical termination circuit is constructed to reflect a portion of a radio-frequency signal back into the optoelectronic device. The reflected signal is out of phase with the applied radio-frequency signal at a frequency of a detrimental spectral feature or a bump in an electro-optical transfer characteristic of the optoelectronic device. The amplitude and the phase of the reflected signal are selected so as to suppress the detrimental spectral feature without a significant reduction in the efficiency of electro-optical or optical-electrical transformation of the optoelectronic device.

    Abstract: A circulating fluidized bed boiler having improved reactant utilization. The circulating fluidized bed boiler includes a circulating fluidized bed having a dense bed portion; a lower furnace portion adjacent to the dense bed portion; and an upper furnace portion, wherein the dense bed portion of the circulating fluidized bed boiler is maintained below the stoichiometric ratio (fuel rich stage) and the lower furnace portion is maintained above the stoichiometric ratio (fuel lean stage), thereby reducing the formation of NOx.; a reactant to reduce the emission of at least one combustion product in the flue gas; and a plurality of secondary air injection ports downstream of the circulating fluidized bed for providing mixing of the reactant and the flue gas in the furnace above the dense bed, wherein the amount of reactant required for the reduction of the emission of the combustion product is reduced. In a preferred embodiment, the circulating fluidized bed boiler may further include a return system for returning carry over particles from the flue gas to the circulating fluidized bed.
