Abstract:
A vehicular steering column of a low tilt type is supported to a body at upper and lower portions thereof to be tilted in whole about a hinge joint located on the lower portion, and more particularly to a shock absorbing steering column is designed to allow a steering column to slide forward when a vehicle driver gets a secondary shock against a steering wheel due to a vehicular collision, thereby absorbing a shock. In particular, the steering column is constructed in such a manner that, in order to absorb a shock in case of the vehicular collision, shock absorbing means is provided to a lower supporting structure of the steering column, and thus an initial shock imposed on the driver can be greatly decreased.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a pop-up prevention structure for steering columns. This invention employs frictional force obtained by horizontally tightening a tilt lever and the engagement of a fixed gear with a movable gear, thus preventing a steering column from undesirably popping up when a vehicle is in a collision, therefore minimizing injury to a driver.

Abstract:
A telescopic device of a steering column for a vehicle, in which a telescopic inner member is slidable or fixable on a telescopic outer member by selectively pivoting a telescopic lever, includes a plurality of locking blocks that are received in one of a plurality of block cases formed along the outer surface of the telescopic outer member and selectively providing a fixing force to the telescopic inner member by movement along inclined bottom surfaces of said block cases and a fastening member having one end pivotally attached to one end of a connection rod.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tilt device for allowing a steering column to be tilted so that a driver can adjust the position of a steering wheel to conform to his/her figure in order to more comfortably drive a vehicle. The tilt device of the invention has an effect in that it can impart a high supporting strength to the steering column while reliably locking the same.
Abstract:
A word line voltage generating circuit has a high voltage generator for generating a high voltage is response to an activation signal. In addition it has a regulator circuit that includes two successive regulators. The first regulator receives the high voltage and outputs an intermediate voltage in response to a reference voltage and the activation signal. The first regulator receives the reference voltage, and adjusts the high voltage to deliver a word line voltage. The second stage includes has a depletion-type NMOS transistor, which can clamp the high voltage to a voltage of a required level.
Abstract:
A method of operating a near field communication (NFC) device includes receiving, by the NFC device, a first signal from an NFC reader, transmitting, by the NFC device, a response to the first signal to the NFC reader and changing selectively, by the NFC device, a radio frequency (RF) configuration parameter associated with signal transmission operation during a signal transmission interval, based on determining whether the NFC reader recognizes the response.
