Abstract: A user interface, such as a graphical user interface or other electronic displayable interface, is contemplated. The user interface may include a reading lens portion configured to facilitate providing expanded viewing of content from other portions of the display. The reading lens portion may be displayed according to a non-linear timeline as to facilitate identifying upcoming contents without being constrained by a linear timeline used in other portions of the user interface.

Abstract: An interface device for communicatively coupling a first communication medium and a second communication medium includes a radio frequency (RF) processor and a frequency shifting subsystem. The RF processor is configured to receive a first data signal from the first communication medium and convert the first data signal to a plurality of first internal RF signals having a common center frequency. The frequency shifting subsystem is configured to shift the plurality of first internal RF signals having the common center frequency to respective first external RF signals having different respective center frequencies, for transmission on the second communication medium. The second communication medium may be a coaxial electrical cable.

Abstract: A radio access network (RAN) node is provided for a small cell of a wireless access network having a coaxial line. The RAN node includes an input operably coupled with the coaxial line and an output configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one user equipment device within an operable vicinity of the wireless access network. The RAN node further includes a transmission path configured to (i) connect the input to the output, and (ii) communicate a first radio frequency (RF) signal from the input to the output, and a reception path separate from the transmission path, and configured to (i) connect the output to the input, and (ii) communicate a second radio frequency (RF) signal from the output to the input. The RAN node is configured to dynamically switch between the transmission path and the reception path in response to a tone received from the wireless access network.

Abstract: Linking, tying, referencing or otherwise utilizing characters, images, alphanumerical values, codes and other metadata to link content, media, information, data and other electronically transmittable matter to an application, program, process or other logically executing construct is contemplated. Such content linking may include but is not necessarily limited to enabling content linking without requiring a server or other entity posting a corresponding link to host the linked-to content.

Abstract: A multidimensional navigator configured to facilitate navigation to electronic content is contemplated. The navigator may include a plurality of dimensions and/or levels whereby each level displays electronic content available for navigation. The electronic content identified within each level may be arranged in a fisheye configuration comprising a plurality of rings where each ring identifies electronic content associated with a different resource.

Abstract: Adaptively indicating field and frame encoding of coded pictures, such as but not necessarily limited to those transmitted in accordance with High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) (ISO/IEC 23008-2)/ITU-T Recommendation H.265, is contemplated. The field and frame encoding indications may be provided at various levels of granularity, such as on a per picture basis, a per slice basis and/or a per slice segment basis.
