摘要: Method and system for streaming media data comprising: transmitting a first media description file and at least a portion of media data to a media renderer, wherein the first media description file contains initial data referencing segments of the media data used to start rendering the media data on the media renderer and a link to a second media description file associated with the media data. Transmitting the second media description file to the media renderer in response to a request initiated by following the link contained in the first media file after the media renderer starts to render the media data, wherein the second media description file contains further data referencing segments of the media data used to continue rendering the media data on the media renderer. The media description files may be media presentation description transmitted over HTTP.

摘要: A system, apparatus and/or method provides frequency response adjustment of an RF input filter of an RF tuner based on impedance of an antenna system that is providing reception of RF signals to the RF tuner. The frequency response adjustment is preferably accomplished dynamically and/or with respect to each frequency tuned. Particularly, the system, method and/or apparatus provides compensation at the RF tuner level for mistuning effects produced on the RF tuner by antenna system impedance presented at the antenna input that is other than a designed for impedance. Frequency response of an RF input filter for the RF tuner is electronically adjustable with an independent or semi-independent control voltage signal based on one or more measured parameters of a tuning frequency. Frequency response adjustment may include adjustment of a center frequency of the RF input filter bandpass frequency range and/or altering the bandpass frequency range of the RF input filter. The subject invention expands the capability of an RF signal receiver, particularly one using at least one electronically adjustable RF filter at the input of an electronic alignment type tuner.

摘要: A scalable pet ecosystem includes modules that are activated by an activity collar of a pet. The modules collect data, such as feeding, resting, and other biological functions. The data may be uploaded to a central server for reporting to an owner's computing device. An app on the computing device may be used to link multiple pets via the activity collars to multiple modules. Modules of the system may include a feeding bowl, a pet bed, an activity collar, and a litter box, and a water dish. A pet recognition device on the activity collar may identify a pet within the system. A profile may logically link the pet recognition device to one or more of the system modules. Collected data may be stored in a repository that is accessible to owners, veterinarians, and marketers via a phone app or server connection. The data may be analyzed to identify trends, to provide marketing and industry data, and to provide advice to owners.

摘要: Processing a two dimensional (2D) barcode using a mobile telecommunications terminal having an image scanner includes obtaining a scanned image of the 2D barcode from the image scanner, decoding the image to obtain data, including a web address, and associating an identifier with the decoded web address, such that the identifier is identifiable by a remote proxy server to obtain information relating to the use of the barcode. A browser of the mobile terminal transmits a web page request including the decoded web address and the identifier. The web page request may be identified as originating from a 2D barcode at a server in a mobile telecommunications network. The request is received from a mobile terminal, an inserted identifier is identified in the request, and a record is saved, the record including an identifier of the mobile terminal or a user of the mobile terminal and the web page address.
