    Abstract: Check valve are disclosed having a primary seal and a secondary seal, where the primary and secondary seals resist movement of a fluid through the check valve, and the secondary seal can provide a backup seal in an instance where the check valve does not function as intended. The primary and secondary seals can be formed by first and second sealing ridges, respectively, and a valve body can be positioned within the check valve, between a valve support, the first sealing ridge, and a second sealing ridge. The valve body is configured to move relative to the first and second sealing ridges, and can have a position wherein a portion of the valve body is engaged against any of the first and second sealing ridges.

    Abstract: A self-flushing connector includes a housing having a cavity, a first inlet port, a second inlet port, and an outlet port. A collapsible valve is disposed within the cavity. A first flow path extends from the first inlet port to the outlet port. The first inlet port and the second inlet port are fluidly connected through a gap defined between the body of the collapsible valve and an inner wall of the housing defining the cavity. A second flow path extends from the second inlet port to the first flow path. When the collapsible valve is in a closed state, the collapsible valve fluidly disconnects the second flow path from the first flow path while allowing fluid to flow through the first flow path.     Abstract: Connector assemblies are disclosed. A connector assembly includes a housing with a post and a valve surrounds the post. The valve is displaceable and based upon the displacement allows fluid to pass therethrough. While providing fluid, a fluid delivery device provides an external force to displace the valve, causing the valve to form a fluid pocket that receives fluid from the fluid delivery device. As the fluid delivery device is removed from the connector assembly, the fluid pocket collapses and drives fluid stored in the fluid pocket through an opening in the post, where the fluid flows downstream to a catheter line. Additionally, the valve closes and covers the post prior to removal of the fluid delivery device. The collapsing fluid pocket and the valve closing prevent the fluid previously in the fluid pocket from upstream fluid flow otherwise caused by removal of the fluid delivery device.
