    Abstract: A communication management resource such as associated with a first wireless access point receives a first communication from a first mobile communication device. Via the first communication, the communication management resource associated with the first wireless access point determines a channel quality associated with a first wireless channel, the first wireless channel acquirable by the first mobile communication device via clear channel assessment. Based on the determined channel quality, the communication management resource controls conveyance of a second communication between the first mobile communication device and a first wireless access point over the first wireless channel.

    Abstract: According to one configuration, a system includes user equipment in communication with a wireless base station. The user equipment receives resource allocation information facilitating communication of wireless communications in a network environment. The user equipment is operable to: produce a first configured grant communication to include: i) first information specifying attributes (such as a first selected identifier value) of the first configured grant communication, and ii) second information specifying attributes (such as a second selected identifier value) of a second (buffered) configured grant communication to be communicated from the user equipment to the wireless base station after communication of the first configured grant communication to the wireless base station. The user equipment communicates the first configured grant communication to the wireless base station and then follows up with communication of the second configured grant communication to the wireless base station.

    Abstract: According to one configuration, a system includes a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device includes monitor hardware operative monitor for presence of a repetitive pattern present in received wireless communications present in a network environment. Depending on a magnitude of wireless energy of a portion of received wireless communications including the repetitive pattern, communication management hardware of the wireless station controls transmission of wireless communications from the wireless station. Thus, depending on a detected energy level of the monitored wireless signals having a particular signature (such as the repetitive pattern), the mobile communication device controls subsequent transmission of wireless communications from the mobile communication device in the network environment.

    Abstract: According to one configuration, a shared wireless access node supports wireless access for multiple wireless network service providers. A mobile communication device receives notification of multiple wireless network service providers, each of which provides access to a remote network through the shared wireless access node. The notification includes connection information such as priority information assigned to the wireless network service providers. The priority information indicates an order in which to select amongst the multiple available wireless network service providers to access the remote network. Based at least in part on the priority information, the mobile communication device selects a wireless network service provider amongst the multiple wireless network service providers. The mobile communication device communicates with the wireless access node to establish a wireless communication link to access the remote network through the corresponding wireless access node using wireless services provided by the selected service provider.
