    Abstract: A display control device controls a superimposed display of a content by a head-up display for a vehicle. The display control device estimates a visible area of a road surface in a foreground included in an angle of view of the head-up display, and an invisible area of the road surface in the foreground included in the angle of view; distinguishes, in a route content, a visible part superimposed in the visible area, an invisible part superimposed in the invisible area, and an overlapping portion between the visible part and the invisible part; and causes the overlapping portion to be displayed in a display mode different from display modes of a visible non-overlapping portion of the visible part out of the overlapping portion and an invisible non-overlapping portion of the invisible part out of the overlapping portion.

    Abstract: A display control device for controlling a display position of a virtual image displayed and superimposed on a foreground in a vehicle (A), includes: an information acquisition unit for acquiring state information of the vehicle and extracting attitude change information and vibration information of the vehicle from the state information; a position correction unit for correcting a displacement of the display position of the virtual image with respect to the foreground caused by the attitude change of the vehicle, based on the attitude change information; a rough road determination unit for determining whether a road is a rough road, the road on which the vehicle is traveling or scheduled to travel, based on the vibration information; and a correction suppression unit for suppressing a correction control of the display position executed by the position correction unit and continuing to display the virtual image, based on a rough road determination.

    Abstract: An image generation apparatus that generates an image notifying an occupant of a vehicle about a notification target located in a traveling direction of the vehicle, and outputs a virtual image of the image to a head-up display device that displays the virtual image while superimposing the virtual image on a foreground of the vehicle. The image generation apparatus includes: a target information acquisition part that obtains positional information and a moving direction of the notification target; an image generation part that generates a ripple image displayed by the head-up display device while superimposed on a road surface where the notification target is located when the target information acquisition part obtains at least one positional information; and a subject vehicle information acquisition part that obtains a traveling speed. The image generation part stops generation of the ripple image when the traveling speed exceeds a threshold speed specified beforehand.

    Abstract: A driving support apparatus includes an image acquisition that acquires a captured image, a calculator that calculates distance and relative speed between a subject vehicle and a following vehicle, and distances and relative speeds between following vehicles; an evaluator that evaluates a degree of risk caused when the subject vehicle changes a lane to the adjacent lane with respect to the following vehicles on a basis of the distances and the relative speeds; and a display controller that creates support information on the degree of risk associated with a lane change in association with road sections based on positions at which the following vehicles are present, and displays a support image in which a created support information is superimposed on the captured image at a corresponding position on the display portion.
