Abstract: A human machine interface control unit as an information presentation control device is used in a vehicle having an autonomous driving function to perform a driving action on behalf of a driver, and controls an information presentation device configured to present information to the driver. The human machine interface control unit includes a permissible action determination unit configured to determine a permissible action that a driver is permitted to take among actions, other than a driving action, to be possibly taken by the driver when the autonomous driving function is implemented, and an information presentation content control unit configured to cause an information presentation device to present information related to a determination result of the permissible action.

Abstract: A control device is used in a subject vehicle capable of performing autonomous driving with no obligation for a driver to monitor periphery. The control device determines whether a permission state, in which a specific act other than driving is permitted to the driver, is continued or not when approach of an emergency vehicle to the subject vehicle is detected during an autonomous cruising period in which the autonomous driving is being performed. The control device restricts display of a content provided to the driver when the permission state of the specific act is determined to be not continued.

Abstract: A vehicle switches from a without-monitoring-duty automated driving without a duty of monitoring by a driver to a with-monitoring-duty automated driving with the duty of monitoring by the driver. A display control unit causes a display device to display a surrounding state image that shows a surrounding state of the vehicle. A mode identification unit identifies whether automated driving in a hands-on mode, which requires gripping of a steering wheel of the vehicle, or automated driving in a hands-off mode, which does not require gripping of the steering wheel, is performed when the vehicle is in the with-monitoring-duty automated driving. The display control unit differentiates display of the surrounding state image, when the vehicle switches from the without-monitoring-duty automated driving to the with-monitoring-duty automated driving, depending on whether the mode identification unit identifies the automated driving in the hands-on mode or the automated driving in the hands-off mode.

Abstract: A presentation control device is configured to control information presentation to a driver of a vehicle. A determination unit is configured to distinguish between a monitoring interruption mode in which the driver is permitted to interrupt surroundings monitoring and a monitoring-required mode in which the driver is prohibited to interrupt the surroundings monitoring, and in the monitoring-required mode, between a hands-free permitted state and a hands-free prohibited state. A presentation control unit configured to perform the information presentation related to a mode transition from the monitoring interruption mode to the monitoring-required mode when the mode transition occurs. The presentation control unit is configured to perform the information presentation at an earlier timing when the monitoring interruption mode is transitioned to the hands-free prohibited state than when the monitoring interruption mode is transitioned to the hands-free permitted state.
