摘要: A fully automated robotized system and method is provided for cooking food products. The system and method is especially useful for use in a quick service or fast food restaurant and, in one embodiment, is capable of cooking, on a fully automated basis, french fries, chicken nuggets, fish filets and chicken patties. In one embodiment, the system includes a robot, a bulk uncooked food dispensing station, a cooking station and a cooked food storage station. The system can be controlled by a computer operating and control station that controls and directs the robot to obtain bulk food from the dispensing station, place it in cooking position at the cooking station and when cooked, remove the food and deliver it to the storage station, at a rate required to fill anticipated customer orders.

摘要: Systems and methods for capturing and storing solar energy. The system includes a solar collection device, at least one battery, and at least one tower forming component. The solar collection device includes a flexible substrate and a perovskite-based photovoltaic layer formed on the substrate. The battery is electrically connected to the perovskite-based photovoltaic layer. The solar collection device is transitionable between a flat state, a storage state in which the solar collection device is rolled onto itself, and a tower state in which solar collection device is maintained vertically upright and defines at least one curve between the opposing sides by the at least one tower forming component. In some embodiments, the at least one battery is mounted to the substrate and defines a segmented central region that facilitates arrangement of the solar collection device to a tower state having a D-like shape.

摘要: A mobile communication device configured to be worn on an index finger of a user's hand. The device includes a case, a microphone, a switch, and a power source. The microphone and the switch are strategically located along a shape of the case so that as worn on the user's index finger and when the switch is activated by the thumb of the user's hand, the hand naturally cups about the microphone to form a barrier to ambient noise. Further, the microphone can readily be located near a corner of the user's mouth for optimal speech-receiving conditions and to provide more private audio input.

摘要: An LED light bulb device including a bulb body, a cap, an LED assembly, and first and second light affecting features. The cap is mounted to the bulb body for connection to an electrical socket. The LED assembly includes a plurality of LEDs and framework. The framework maintains the LEDs relative to the bulb body such that emitted light is directed at an LED region of the wall. The first light affecting feature is associated with the LED region of the wall, whereas the second light affecting feature is associated with a diffusion region of the wall, with the diffusion region being apart from the LED region. The first light affecting feature affects light in a manner different from that of the second light affecting feature. The light affecting features are selected to affect or alter light emitted from the LEDs to provide a desired Kelvin color temperature and diffusion.

摘要: A hitch device for converting a conventional wheelbarrow into a towable trailer. The wheelbarrow includes a tub, handles and at least one wheel. The hitch device includes an elongated tow bar, first and second engagement members, and a vehicle coupling assembly. Each of the engagement members has a handle capture, a cross bar, and a base. The handle capture is configured to slidably receive one of the wheelbarrow handles, and is connected to the cross bar. The base also projects from the cross bar. The first engagement member is separate from the tow bar, whereas the second engagement member is affixed to the tow bar. The handle captures are received over the wheelbarrow handles, respectively, and the bases fastened to one another to connect the first engagement member with the tow bar such that the hitch device is mounted to the wheelbarrow handles in a wedge-like fashion.

摘要: A mobile personal computer comprising a case sized for handling by a single, adult human hand, a micro-projector system maintained by the case, and a speech recognition system maintained by the case and including a microphone. A microprocessor is maintained within the case and electronically connected to the micro-projector system and the speech recognition system. The microprocessor utilizes a personal computer operating system to perform computing operations. A power source is maintained within the case. Finally, a linear touch pad array adapted to operate as a user interface is assembled to the case such that at least a segment of the linear touch pad array is curved.

摘要: A basket of cooked food products is mounted on a support structure. The support structure is rigidly mounted to a rotatable shaft. The shaft is rotated through a predetermined angle so that the basket is tilted. The contents of the basket is then dumped out of the basket. The basket may be held by a first and second clamps which hold the basket at opposite ends.

摘要: A safety system for an autonomous electronic vehicle having a body and a platform. The safety system includes at least one mechanical connection unit and a safety control module. The mechanical connection unit connects the body to the platform, and is transitionable between a first state, in which the body is attached to the platform at the mechanical connection unit, and a second state, in which the body is released from the platform at the mechanical connection unit. The safety control module is programmed to prompt the mechanical connection unit to transition from the first state to the second state under circumstances of an imminent collision event. In some embodiments, the safety control module is programmed to determine a safety path for passengers within the body and/or others in the collision zone based on conditions surrounding the vehicle.
