Abstract: A display panel includes: a base substrate including a display region and a fan-out region, and the fan-out region is located between the display region and a chip; a plurality of data wires/touch wires located in the fan-out region for respectively electrically connecting a plurality of data lines/touch signal lines with the chip. A portion of the plurality of data wires is located in a first conductive layer while a rest portion thereof is located in the second conductive layer. A portion of the plurality of touch wires is located in at least one of the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer while a rest portion thereof is located in the third conductive layer. A pitch between any two adjacent wires in the first/second/third conductive layer is a first/second/third wire pitch, respectively. The first wire pitch and the second wire pitch are smaller than the third wire pitch.

Abstract: A head-wearable electronic device includes a frame worn on a head of a user and an electro-optical device coupled to the frame. The electro-optical device includes a display module generating a data image, an optical module, and a camera module. The optical module includes a first switchable mirror layer and a second switchable mirror layer, each having a light transmittance that is controllable. The first switchable mirror layer provides the second switchable mirror layer with the data image generated by the display module and the second switchable mirror layer provides eye of the user with the data image provided from the first switchable mirror layer. The camera module provides an external image having information about the eye of the user corresponding to an operation of the first and second switchable mirror layers.

Abstract: A portable device (e.g., a wireless device such as a cell phone) is provided with a flexible keyboard and a flexible display screen. Such flexible components may be stored in the housing of the portable device when not in use. The flexible display screen and flexible keyboard may be expanded from the housing when the flexible components are utilized by a user. Non-flexible display and input components may be provided on the exterior of the portable device such that the device may be used, in some form, while the flexible components are stored. In one embodiment, a portion of the flexible display (or flexible keyboard) may be utilized when the flexible display (or flexible keyboard) is stored in said first housing.

Abstract: A tapping detecting device, a tapping detecting method and a smart projecting system using the same are provided. The tapping detecting device comprises a fingertip size providing unit, a laser emitting unit, a laser sensing unit and a processing unit. The fingertip size providing unit is used for providing the size of a fingertip of a finger. The laser emitting unit is used for providing a laser at a parallel surface above a plane. The laser sensing unit is used for capturing a reflecting image which shows the reflection of the laser caused by the fingertip. The processing unit is used for obtaining a reflecting region according to the reflecting image, and for adjusting a threshold value according to the size of the fingertip. If the area of the reflecting region is larger than the threshold value, then the processing unit deems that the fingertip touches the plane.
