    摘要: A (GaAs-resident) application specific monolithic microwave integrated circuit (ASMMIC) is fabricated through the use of footprints that include a portion of the metallization through which the circuit components within the wafer are to be interconnected. The metallization is a three layers structure, the first two layers of which include strategically arranged reactance circuit components (MIM) capacitors. A first of the three metal layers is formed on a first surface of the substrate which contains a plurality of semiconductor device regions and conductive material for ohmic contact to the regions, so that portions of the first metal layer are in ohmic contact with the conductive material. The first metal layer provides the bottom plate of the MIM capacitors. A dielectric layer, which serves as the dielectric insulator of the MIM capacitors, is formed on second portions of the first metal layer. A second, intermediate metal layer is selectively formed on the second portions of the first metal layer, to provide top plate segments of MIM capacitors. Personalization of the footprint is effected by an air bridge metal layer interconnecting the first and second metal layers and thereby semiconductor device regions of the semiconductor structure with capacitive reactance elements formed by the first and second metal layers.

    摘要: The invention comprises a polymeric demulsifier, methods of producing the demulsifier and methods of using the demulsifier. The demulsifier is the reaction product of at least one amine-containing group, and optionally a second amine-containing group which includes a tertiary amine group, with a diepoxy- or diglycidyl compound and an additional amine compound subsequently reacted with unreacted epoxy groups. This polymeric composition is subsequently reacted with N-alkylating agent containing compounds to produce novel demulsifiers useful to demulsify oil bearing formations.

    摘要: An acid corrosion inhibitor composition is provided for petroleum wells and water wells subjected to stimulation with acid solutions. The inhibitor combines cinnamaldehyde and an organo-sulfur compound. The inhibitor provides a reduced rate of corrosion and fewer instances of pitting than inhibitors which include cinnamaldehyde alone. The inhibitor does not suffer from the well-known oil field aldehyde/polyacrylamide crosslinking incompatibility. The enhanced performance by the inhibitor of the present invention is provided by a synergistic action between the cinnamaldehyde and an organo-sulfur compound.

    摘要: A transition metal complex useful as a crosslinking agent for high temperature, high pH, water-based fracturing fluids incorporating polysaccharide polymers is provided. The crosslinker comprises a zirconium/triethanolamine complex having a Zr/TEA molar ratio of between about 1/6.0 and 1/10.0, with 1/6.5 to 1/9.5 being preferred. Methods for preparing the zirconium/triethanolamine crosslinker are also provided. The methods comprise mixing effective amounts of either n-butyl zirconate or n-propyl zirconate with triethanolamine until a uniform blend is obtained. Further, an improved hydraulic fracturing fluid incorporating a polysaccharide polymer, buffer, crosslinker, pH adjusting agent and antioxidant is provided wherein the improvement is utilizing a zirconium/triethanolamine crosslinker. Improved methods for crosslinking fracturing fluids and for hydraulically fracturing well formations are also provided.
