    摘要: An embodiment bridgeless power factor correction circuit comprises a first boost converter and a second boost converter connected in parallel. A first switch is coupled between the input of the first boost converter and ground. A second switch is coupled between the input of the second boost converter and ground. Both the first switch and the second switch help to reduce the common mode noise of the bridgeless power factor correction circuit. The bridgeless power factor correction circuit further comprises two surge protection diodes coupled between the inputs of two boost converters and the output of the bridgeless power factor correction circuit.

    摘要: A soft switching apparatus comprises an energy recovery channel formed by two diodes in series connection and a resonant tank formed by an inductor and a capacitor. The soft switching apparatus is coupled to the primary side of a bridge converter. An energy transfer process during L-C resonance helps to reduce the amplitude of the current flowing through the inductor in a freewheeling period. Furthermore, the soft switching apparatus can help to reduce the voltage stress across the secondary switching devices as well as the shoot-through currents flowing through the secondary switching devices, and thus enabling the reduction or elimination of dead time in a secondary synchronous rectifier control scheme.

    摘要: Phase compensation of a voltage appearing on physical terminals of a synchronous rectifier switching element such as a MOSFET is used to substantially eliminate effects of package inductance of the synchronous rectifier and thus approximate the actual voltage across the circuit element providing synchronous rectification in, for example, a switching power converter. By doing so and using the phase compensated signal to control the synchronous rectifier, switching time may be more suitably controlled to improve efficiency of the synchronous rectifier by substantially eliminating body diode conduction and body diode reverse recovery effects.

    摘要: An embodiment integrated common mode choke comprises a magnetic core, a magnetic plate, a first winding coil and a second winding coil. The magnetic plate is inserted within an inner circumference of the magnetic core. The first winding coil and the second winding coil are wound are wound in the same direction through the magnetic core. The integrated common mode choke is equivalent to a common mode choke and a differential mode choke connected in series. The inductance value of the differential mode choke can be changed by adjusting either the gap between the magnetic plate and the magnetic core or the thickness of the magnetic plate.

    摘要: A resonant switched power converter having switching frequency controlled in response to an output voltage thereof achieves over-current protection such as at start-up or under short circuit conditions using a resonant tank circuit which provides a notch filter in addition to a band pass filter. A additional band pass filter provided in the resonant tank circuit achieves increased power transfer to a load and reduced circulating resonant currents and conduction losses. The inductances of the preferred LCLCL tank circuit or other tank circuit with two pass band filters and a notch filter may be integrated into a single electrical component.
