摘要: An amplifier arrangement comprising an amplifier (AMP) with a terminal (SPL) for a supply signal (VSPL) and a bias circuit (BIAS) for providing the supply signal (VSPL) at the terminal (SPL). The bias circuit holds an operating point (OP) of the amplifier (AMP) constant by means of the supply signal (VSPL). The bias circuit (BIAS) comprises a reference circuit (REF) for providing a reference signal (VREF) and a correction device (COR) by means of which the supply signal (VSPL) is regulated based on the reference signal (VREF) and a correction signal (Vfeed), the correction signal (Vfeed) being dependent on the operating point (OP) of the amplifier (AMP). A method for operating an amplifier arrangement is also described.

摘要: A power electronics module for enhancing short circuit failure mode (SCFM) transitions. The module is adapted to disconnect a gate unit from the module using a first switch, upon a failure of at least one of a plurality of semiconductor chips during which the failed chip enters an SCFM, and connect a passive circuit arrangement, including at least one capacitor and at least one resistor, to the module using a second switch. The passive circuit arrangement is adapted to switch on at least one of the remaining non-failed semiconductor chips.

摘要: A film is disclosed which includes a base having an electrically insulating polymer which carries on one or both surfaces a sequence of electrically conductively coated areas which are separated by non-coated interstices. The film, or a superposition of films arranged one above another, can be shaped (for example, folded or wound) to form a capacitor with a plurality of essentially parallel electrodes which are insulated from each other and each include (e.g., consist of) one or more electrode layers formed by the coated areas and separated by dielectric layers formed by sections of the base. An exemplary electrode layer can include two adjacent coated areas pertaining to subsequent turns. The capacitor can have a high voltage withstand capacity and can be used, for example, as a high voltage capacitor in a capacitive voltage transformer in series with a known low voltage transformer wound from two superposed conductively coated films.
