Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device for providing a broadcasting service, including: acquiring signaling information from a broadcasting signal received from a broadcasting network; acquiring information on a hybrid broadcasting service based upon the signaling information; and determining whether a component to be received through a communication network exists based upon information on the hybrid broadcasting service.

Abstract: A hybrid broadcasting transmitting apparatus generates signaling information including a stream type of a plurality of broadcasting programs and a transmitting network type of the plurality of broadcasting programs, transmits signaling information and a broadcasting stream corresponding to a portion of a plurality of broadcasting programs through the communication network, and transmits signaling information and a broadcasting stream corresponding to the remaining portions of a plurality of broadcasting programs through the broadcasting network.
