Abstract: A signal compensation device includes a first receiving circuit, a second receiving circuit, a first buffer, a second buffer, a third buffer, and a processing circuit. The first receiving circuit receives a first video signal from a first video source. The second receiving circuit receives a second video signal from a second video source, wherein both the first video signal and the second video signal correspond to a same program. The first buffer stores a first transport stream (TS) packet group corresponding to the first video signal. The second buffer stores a second TS packet group corresponding to the second video signal. The processing circuit dynamically stores a first TS packet of the first TS packet group or a second TS packet of the second TS packet group to the third buffer according to a predetermined source in response to TS packet status.

Abstract: A method for transmitting media data in a Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Media Transport (MMT) system is provided. The method includes receiving a Media Processing Unit (MPU) fragmented into one or more Media Fragment Units (MFUs), generating one or more multimedia data packets each including a packet header and a payload, based on the MPU, and transmitting the one or more multimedia data packets to a terminal. A payload header included in the payload includes identification information indicating an MPU to which at least one MPU included in the payload belongs, and a counter indicating the number of the at least one MPU.

The broadcast signal transmitting method includes compressing a header of an IP packet included in an IP packet stream to output an RoHC (Robust Header Compression) packet stream, generating a signaling packet including information of at least one RoHC packets included the RoHC packet stream, wherein the signaling packet includes a signaling packet header and a signaling packet payload, wherein the signaling packet header includes signaling information that is included in the signaling packet payload, transporting the signaling packet through a first channel and transporting the RoHC packet stream through a second channel.

Abstract: Wireless transport of multiple service versions of a transport framework. First and second information may be processed for transmission, respectively, according to first and second service versions of a transport framework. The first and second information may be encoded using a first type of error correction coding; after processing, the processed first information may include error correction coding according to the first type of error correction coding, while the processed second information may remain uncoded according to the first type of error correction coding. Control information may be generated indicating that the second information remains uncoded according to the first type of error correction coding, which may signal to receivers that the second information is processed according to the second service version of the transport framework. Packets including the processed first information, the processed second information, and the control information may be generated and transmitted in a wireless manner.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. The method includes, encoding Data Pipe, DP, data according to a code rate, wherein the encoding further includes Low-Density Parity-Check, LDPC, encoding the DP data, Bit interleaving the LDPC encoded DP data, and mapping the bit interleaved DP data onto constellations; building at least one signal frame by mapping the encoded DP data; and modulating data in the built signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM, method and transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data.
