Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for providing authentication based on aggregated attributes in federated identity management. A federated identity system includes a user terminal, a server of a service provider, a first identity provision server, and a second identity provision server. The first identity provision server and the second identity provision server respectively provide attributes of a user's identity. The user terminal determines whether providing service to the user terminal is permissible, using the aggregated attributes. When it is determined that provision of the service is permissible, the user terminal acquires the service from the server of the service provider.

Disclosed herein are a method for managing an access control list based on an automotive Ethernet and an apparatus for the same. The method includes analyzing a new access control rule that is input to a vehicle in which the automotive Ethernet is applied, searching for any one target unit to manage the new access control rule in consideration of at least one of a destination and an application target corresponding to the new access control rule, and storing the new access control rule by transmitting a storage request message corresponding to the new access control rule to the target unit.

An apparatus and method for controlling congestion in a vehicular communication, capable of preventing the network throughput from being lowered due to increase in the number of vehicles, the method including: determining whether a communication channel is in a congestion condition as a message to be transmitted exists; and if determined as the congestion condition, transmitting a message in a transmission section that is determined within a time frame based on a current position.

Disclosed herein are a method for replacing vehicle parts using an in-vehicle network based on an automotive Ethernet and a system for the same. The method is configured such that a vehicle diagnosis module included in a vehicle performs vehicle self-diagnosis, such that the vehicle and a vehicle manufacturer server perform an authentication process for a new part when a vehicle part is replaced based on a vehicle part replacement agreement procedure between the terminal of a vehicle owner and the maintenance terminal of a vehicle maintenance company, and such that the terminal of the vehicle owner checks whether replacement of the vehicle part is performed normally by requesting an integrity check result from each of the vehicle and the vehicle manufacturer server when the maintenance terminal transmits a part replacement completion message to the terminal of the vehicle owner after completion of the authentication process.

The method for operating an elliptic curve cryptosystem may include, setting, by a key setting unit, a length of a key of a cryptographic algorithm, generating, by the key setting unit, first setup information that indicates a number of words corresponding to the key length, and generating, by the key setting unit, second setup information that indicates a number of repetitions of an operation by a finite-field division operator corresponding to the key length.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for providing traffic control service are disclosed herein. The apparatus for providing traffic control service includes a multi-sensor fusion processing unit, an image object tracking and combination unit, and an information provision unit. The multi-sensor fusion processing unit generates the location information of a vessel by fusing radar information and automatic identification system (AIS) information together. The image object tracking and combination unit sets a detection area on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) image based on the information of the vessel, and detects the vessel by performing image processing within the set detection area. The information provision unit generates mapping display information based on the information of the vessel and the result of the detection achieved by performing the image processing, and displays the generated mapping display information within a CCTV screen, thereby providing traffic control service.
