    Abstract: Provided are a reflection film, which enables high visible light transmittance, an increase in the brightness of a display image, and favorable transparency of an external tint, a windshield glass, and a head-up display system. The reflection film includes a selective reflection layer formed of a cholesteric liquid crystal layer with a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase immobilized. In each of a wavelength range of 400 nm or more and less than 500 nm and a wavelength range of 500 nm or more and less than 600 nm, a maximum value of a natural light reflectivity is 10% to 25%, the greatest difference between the greatest maximum value and the smallest minimum value of the natural light reflectivity is 3% or more, and a total value of wavelength bandwidths in a region where a reflectivity is higher than an average value of the maximum value and the minimum value of the natural light reflectivity is 20 nm to 80 nm. In a wavelength range of 600 nm or more and 800 nm or less, a maximum value of a natural light reflectivity is 10% to 25%, and a total value of wavelength bandwidths in a region where a reflectivity is higher than an average value of the maximum value and the minimum value of the natural light reflectivity is 120 nm or more.

    Abstract: An object is to provide a head-up display projector that uses a reflection member having a selective reflection layer and that can suppress the decrease in brightness of a projection image and the loss of color balance of a projection image even when the wavelength of a light beam has varied. The object is achieved by having: a light source for forming a projection image; and a reflection member having a selective reflection layer that reflects visible light and is constituted by two or more layers having selective reflection center wavelengths different from each other and an interference suppression layer that has a thickness of 10 μm or more, wherein in the reflection member, the interference suppression layer is located closer to the side on which light from the light source is incident than the selective reflection layer is.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a projection image-displaying member having excellent suitability for polarizing sunglasses, a windshield glass, and a head-up display system. The projection image-displaying member has a first polarization converting layer, at least one selectively reflecting layer, and a second polarization converting layer in this order. The first polarization converting layer and the second polarization converting layer are layers formed by fixing a helical alignment structure of a liquid crystal compound. The number of pitches in the helical alignment structure and a film thickness satisfy all relational expressions below.

    Abstract: Provided are a reflection film that can display videos in a case of being applied in a head-up display, and that can also compatible with various types of authentication such as face authentication and iris authentication performed with various infrared light sources, a windshield glass, and a head-up display system. The reflection film includes a visible light selective reflection layer and an infrared light selective reflection layer. The visible light selective reflection layer has at least one reflection peak in a range of 380 nm to 850 nm, and has a natural light reflectivity of 5% to 25% at a wavelength of the reflection peak. The infrared light selective reflection layer satisfies requirement 1 or requirement 2.



    Requirement 1: two or more reflection peaks are provided in a range of 900 nm to 1200 nm, and a natural light reflectivity each of the reflection peaks is 26% or more.
    Requirement 2: one reflection peak is provided in a range of 900 nm to 1200 nm, a natural light reflectivity of the reflection peak is 26% or more, and a wavelength bandwidth in a region where a reflectivity higher than an average value of a maximum value and a minimum value of a reflectivity is 120 nm to 500 nm.
