Abstract: A vehicle pane includes a light emitting arrangement including a plurality of optoelectronic components on a flexible foil. The vehicle pane also includes a structure including a first pane, a second pane arranged thereon, and at least one at least partially transparent connecting layer connecting the first pane and the second pane. The structure includes an at least partially transparent inner region and an edge region surrounding the inner region. The light emitting arrangement is arranged laterally in the edge region of the structure and the edge region with the light emitting arrangement is configured to direct light generated by the optoelectronic components along the at least partially transparent connecting layer into the at least partially transparent inner region.

Abstract: A coated article includes a substrate, a first dielectric layer, a first metallic layer, a first primer layer, a second dielectric layer, a second metallic layer, a second primer layer, a third dielectric layer, a third primer layer, a third metallic layer, and a fourth dielectric layer. The total combined thickness of the metallic layers is at least 30 nanometers and no more than 60 nanometers. The article can have a sheet resistance of less than 0.85 Ω/□, a visible light reflectance of not more than 10%, and a visible light transmittance of at least 70%.

The TL(inside) is in the range from 5 to 46% and the TL(outside) is in the range from 20 to 73% and the TL(outside) is greater than or equal to TL(inside), wherein the TL(inside) is the light transmittance of an inner stack that is formed by the inner glass pane and the layers between the PDLC layer and the inner glass pane, and TL(outside) is the light transmittance of an outer stack that is formed by the outer glass pane and the layers between the PDLC layer and the outer glass pane.

Abstract: Provided are a reflection film, which enables high visible light transmittance, an increase in the brightness of a display image, and favorable transparency of an external tint, a windshield glass, and a head-up display system. The reflection film includes a selective reflection layer formed of a cholesteric liquid crystal layer with a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase immobilized. In each of a wavelength range of 400 nm or more and less than 500 nm and a wavelength range of 500 nm or more and less than 600 nm, a maximum value of a natural light reflectivity is 10% to 25%, the greatest difference between the greatest maximum value and the smallest minimum value of the natural light reflectivity is 3% or more, and a total value of wavelength bandwidths in a region where a reflectivity is higher than an average value of the maximum value and the minimum value of the natural light reflectivity is 20 nm to 80 nm. In a wavelength range of 600 nm or more and 800 nm or less, a maximum value of a natural light reflectivity is 10% to 25%, and a total value of wavelength bandwidths in a region where a reflectivity is higher than an average value of the maximum value and the minimum value of the natural light reflectivity is 120 nm or more.

Abstract: There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which an air bubble can be made difficult to be left behind between a lamination glass member and the interlayer film when laminated glass is obtained. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention contains a thermoplastic resin and has a portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is increased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the thickness is increased, has a portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is decreased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the thickness is increased, has a portion where the wedge angle is increased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the sectional shape in the thickness direction is a wedge-like shape, or has a portion where the wedge angle is decreased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the sectional shape in the thickness direction is a wedge-like shape, and the ten-point average roughness Rz of the surface at a center position of the portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is increased, the portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is decreased, the portion where the wedge angle is increased, or the portion where the wedge angle is decreased is 20 μm or more.
